Anyone had positive results with higher Menopur doses during IVF?

Just to curious question

Has anyone achieved positive results being on Menopur 450iu

Im currently on 375 and if still under responding by next scan they will up my dose and I'd like to suggest 450 as think thats what my body needs bases on previous trials, but I read somewhere that high dose can impact egg quality negatively?

Incase someone stumbles across this post, I stayed on 375 throughout, developed 8 follicles measuring 13 to 20mm by day11, and had ER on day13, but only got 1 mature egg retrieved, which didnt fertilized.

In my experience high stims don't cause egg problems. I took 600IU for each day of my last cycle and got a lot better result than 375IU.
Good luck, one bad cycle is just that. I went from 1 mature egg which fertilised irregularly to 4 mature eggs with 3 fertilising next time.

I suspect that the single trigger shot didnt wasn't enough for my body, since i was a poor responder to the stimms

One in December, one in Feb so just one cycle off.

Yes they think the December one was trigger issues! I did single trigger first cycle and dual second cycle.

I changed clinic to be honest. The previous one with a bad result said it was poor egg quality, but I felt that was easy for them to say and a more closely monitored approach would help. The new clinic also said I need quite big follicles to get a mature egg so would give me a higher trigger dose next time.

I hope that helps. My thyroid went out of sync too last cycle so I think that impacted implantation chances but the clinic did notice and I am trying with the same clinic again.

That confirms for myself that the triggers seemed to be the issue, as i had of the 8, 3 follicles ranging 18 to 20mm surely they would have matured after trigger?

The part im struggling to make peace with is i even asked before the trigger if I need two based on the fact that ive been a poor responder and have required high stimm doses, they said no as they would only try dual or higher trigger IF single trigger previously failed.
