I’m 7dp5dt (fresh transfer, first ever round) and not testing until OTD on Sunday 1st March. However, I’m now starting to think I might test on Saturday morning to give me longer to grieve over the weekend.
I absolutely know I’m out but I have two questions at the end.
Symptoms:
Intensifying PMS symptoms since 3dp
Usual PMS cramping and heaviness
Usual hormonal headache
Usual low hard cervix and dry clumpy CM
Boobs have deflated and stopped hurting (they were sore and firm on first week of progesterone)
Usual period poops (IYKYK)
Progesterone pessary smell in pantyliner has become less strong and now smells neutral
Usual evening and morning fatigue
Usual low level nausea
My two questions:
- Anecdotally, of people who go on to get a negative test don’t seem to have their usual intense period symptoms. Does this mean my progesterone’s too low or something else is going on? Everyone tells me PMS is masked by the progesterone but all my progesterone symptoms have disappeared and I only feel my PMS symptoms. Genuinely think I’m going to start bleeding before I get to test day.
- Just to torture myself because my 95% certainty sits with my 5% hope—did anyone have such a specific and long list of their exact PMS symptoms, getting more intense towards test day (not just cramps) and get a BFP?
Really hoping for some replies. I posted on an IVF Reddit board and it was deleted by the mods.. I just really want someone to read this who gets what this is like. x
