Evewell, Lister or Aria Fertility - IVF in London

Hi all,

My husband and I are currently trying to choose an IVF clinic in London and would be grateful for recommendations. We think we have narrowed it down to Evewell, Lister or Aria fertility based on reviews, locations and the HFEA report. We're 31 and 33 and are pursuing private treatment for unexplainted infertility (potentially MFI but it's only morphology which has been off) and are looking for a clinic which are great at the admin side of things and a reassuring emotional presence. If anyone has any experiences of these clinics which they're happy to share that would be great.

Evewell, 100%. I do a 6-7hr round trip every few days to have a cycle with them

I did 2 egg collections, 2 frozen embryo transfers and a bunch of testing with the Lister. I really liked my consultant and found him great, but wasn't able to be in touch in between appointments (though there was always an on call doctor to speak to when I went in for scans etc). Admin wise I found them fine, I didn't need to wait too long for appointments when I needed them, I was quite pushy though, and I've read others experiences more recently saying rhey had to wait longer than anticipated for follow up appointments. They gave me a protocol tailored to me, and they were willing to change it up and try new things. I'm probably biased as we had success (our 2nd embryo transfer is now a week old little boy and we have frozen embryos for the future) but I think they're a good clinic. I will say appointments always run late though!

I used the Evewell and really liked them. I found the admin pretty good...was a little rocky to start with but I hadn't actually paid at that point (think it was when we were waiting for the plan and price list and consultation appointments and I had to keep chasing) but once I was with them, then I never had any problems and the nurses were always lovely and really responsive and very supportive.

I did find the clinic tried to upsell quite a bit so I did find it helpful to really question why they were recommending certain things and that caused them to change their mind on a few things when they couldn't really articulate why. But my consultant was great and it was the third clinic we have been to and our fourth egg collection and we had by far the best results so overall wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I have heard good things about Lister too though.

Hello love, all very great options and a hard decision to make. but very important to chose what is right for you and where you will feel most comfortable. It would be worth speaking to sarah at Seen fertility if you haven't done so., I was in a similar boat and she helped me to distil down the choices. wishing you all the luck XX
