Anyone any experience of ttc with an endometrial polyp?

I had a monitored natural cycle with supplementary progesterone to conceive my son who is now 1 and a half years old. I’ve always had light mid cycle spotting for up to a week before my period which we put down to low progesterone.

Anyway my husband and I have been trying naturally for our second for 3/4 months but no luck, so we went back to our original doctor to try and do another monitored cycle. The doctor noticed I have a small endometrial polyp - she said it shouldn’t stop us conceiving, but if it does she will refer me to somewhere to have it removed.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with something similar? I should also say despite normally having regular cycles something is really off this month - I’ve been spotting pretty heavily, almost like a period, since cycle day 15 (and my last TV scan), and still no sign of ovulation and I’m now day 17.

I’m having another scan tomorrow to see where I’m at, but I’m worried this polyp is going to be more of a problem than I initially thought…

When I was preparing to do a fet back in 2023, I had a lump show up in my uterus on my ultrasound, it was a decent size, no one could work out what is was or how it got there or if it would cause any issues. We kept monitoring it while I was waiting for ovulation and then I was given a decision whether or not to actually do a transfer or see if the lump goes away. I went ahead with the transfer and it worked. The lump had disappeared by the time I had my first pregnancy scan at 7 weeks or it just wasnt noticed but I now have that little bubs laying beside me and she is 2.
