Funny movies to help implantation!

Hi all,

I’ve read a lot online about how laughing seems to help with implantation rates. Something to do about happy hormones creating a good space for the embryo (links to the McD fries theory although at this point a glass of wine would make me much happier than some fries 😂).

I’m starting this thread to share anything that you’ve watched/seen/read/done that makes you laugh, to help us all take our minds off of things and possibly help with happy transfers!

  1. pictionary - i swear this one always has me in stitches, people are just horrible at drawing
  2. home alone - i find all the tricks so funny but also the fact a small child managed to annoy two adults so much is a riot
  3. would I lie to you - really depends on the guests but it’s a great show
  4. taskmaster - depends on the season and guest but can be so funny
  5. romesh ranganathan in general, I think he’s so funny in everything he does
  6. crowdsourced some recommendations from friends: elf the movie, death at a funeral the movie (not seen it yet) and white chicks the movie (I think I saw that as a child)

hit me with your belly laugh hard hitters please! My transfer is tomorrow and hoping to have a smashing list of things to watch and do when we come back home ♥️

Hi again @zirafica, we chatted a few months ago and I was actually just thinking about you the other day. Keeping my fingers super duper crossed! I like your suggestions and I heard the same thing about laughing increasing chances so I am making similar plans for when I hopefully get to a transfer in Feb. My list includes some of what you posted plus 8 out of 10 cats and the American Pie movies, as well as Harold and Kumar and Pineapple Express. None of those films are necessarily my usual sense of humour but somehow make me chuckle. Also over the weekend we were playing games with our friends (I love Cards against Humanity, Slide into DMs, What do you meme etc) and we were all laughing out loud so my plan is to use them (the friends and the games) during the TWW just without a drink for me. 😀 My husband and our cat also make me laugh a lot so I hope they'll be on top form. 😀

Hi girl! Gosh there’s so much waiting around isn’t there. It’s actually insane when you look at it! Will be keeping an eye on your Feb posts ♥️

All great additions! I’m adding Harold and kumar and Pineapple Express to my list, thank you!
8 out of 10 cats is a favourite in our household too although I do really miss Sean Lock ♥️ I think one of the best laughs is my fiancé listening to me trying to answer the math conundrums 😂😂
the same with our cats too, they’re just so ridiculous 😂😂

Normally when me and my friends talk about memories of school or of our past girls holidays that makes me laugh so hard. Maybe you can get a conversation going about funny memories with your friends of family.

I don’t know if it still airs but ‘you’ve been framed’ or similar shows. Also you know how when you watch people or babies laughing it can be contagious? Maybe get on YouTube and search for people with funny laughs.

Good luck OP 🍀

We watched the inbetweeners and Derry Girls first time round, which resulted in my little boy. Still in stims but hopefully will do the same if we get to transfer!
