Any London/Hertfordshire Clinic Reccomendations? Used IVI so far

Hi, I have previously had 2 failed attempts with IVI london due to the eggs not being fertilised. I was thinking to change clinic and wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

Is it worth changing clinics, i just feel that i'm not getting a tailored plan.

Hey, I’m really sorry you’ve been through that — getting no fertilisation twice is incredibly disheartening.

My wife and I are going through treatment in London too (we’re with King’s), and funny enough we’ve actually been looking at IVI as one of the clinics we might switch to next. So I don’t think there’s anything “wrong” with the clinic itself — sometimes it really does just come down to whether the approach fits your specific situation, and whether you feel looked after.

Because we found it almost impossible to compare clinics clearly (success rates, costs, lab differences, specialisms, etc.), I ended up putting together a little tool (thanks to my line of work) - Seedling. It’s still fairly new, but the idea is to help people see clinics side-by-side and understand which ones might suit their situation better. It might give you a clearer picture of alternatives, including how IVI compares with others.

Otherwise you can use the HFEA site and go direct to source, but it's a little clunky and restrictive in my opinion.

Hi @OneMintQuail I just visited your website and it actually recommended clinics in Manchester and I think somewhere in Wales, even though I put in I wouldn't want to travel more than an hour from London - just to flag something needs fixing in the algorithm! But IVI came out as my best bet, even though I'm with Kings and extremely happy with the care and support I've gotten from them!

@zirafica thank you so much for the heads up on the site! I will take a look into this and make sure it's accurate to user location.

As for Kings, as touched on we have found their team to be great on most fronts. I think our only query has been around follow ups after a failed transfer where we were left a bit in the lurch for 3 weeks to speak to someone about "what happened". This is sadly just the way the admin process works sometimes I suppose.
