Positive FRER 9DP5DT but negative cheapie - chemical?

Hi all - Looking for some advice. I tested yesterday for the first time 8DP5DT and got a fairly strong positive on a FRER test. I woke up in the middle of the night with bad cramping and there was some red blood when I wiped - not a lot but enough to freak me out. No more blood since then. I took another FRER (now 9DP5DT) and the line was about the same as yesterday. However, I was curious so also took a cheapie strip test and there was barely a squinter! I'm wondering if this indicates a chemical, as the FRER is more sensitive but assumed the strip tests would pick up something by now. Anxiously now waiting for Beta (convinced my clinic to let me test one day early). Do I need to prepare myself for a chemical?

Id rely more on the frer then the cheapie. Also hcg doubles every 2 to 3 days so there wont be a huge different from one day to the next and also depends on the time of day your doing them. So compare with same day so to speak. Im also comparing lines and tests and today in a bit of a down ward spiral but trying to take on my own advice.

Honestly don’t reply on the cheaper! When i was pregnant mine was faint- i’ve attached a photo with the easy at home bold positive in the back ground and an amazon cheap only faint positive. I’d hold out a few days as HCG doubles every few days.
Hopefully the cramping and bleed was due to ligaments and implantation! sending you luck! xx

Thank you for your responses! My beta came back at 144 so feeling more positive but it’s the follow up test on Monday that really matters. I’m going to try and hold off using anymore HPT this weekend as I think they’ll drive me (more) insane! Wishing you luck @Miraclemuma03 !! Xx
