When in the cycle is a 5-day embryo transferred? (natural cycle)

I don’t trust my clinic..

I used Clearblue ovulation tests and got a positive result on Saturday. I called my clinic — they first scheduled my transfer for Friday, but then called back and changed it to Thursday.
If you get a solid smiley on Clearblue on a Saturday, ovulation should happen on Sunday (since ovulation usually occurs 24–36 hours after the positive test). Wouldn’t that mean that a 5-day embryo should be transferred on Friday to match the timing? I counted Sunday as ovulation day (O+0), which makes Thursday O+4 — isn’t that a bit early for a 5-day embryo transfer?

For those of you who’ve done IVF, can you share when your FET with a 5-day embryo was scheduled? I’m doing a natural cycle, so I’m tracking ovulation with Clearblue tests.

I’m not sure, but I didn’t want to read and run. It seems a bit early to me, I thought you had to have 5 days of progesterone before a 5 day frozen embryo transfer. I’d definitely give the clinic a ring and ask them to check the day they’ve given you is correct.

Hey, I’ve just done a so far successful natural cycle.

I got my smiley face on a Wednesday, started progesterone on the Sunday and then had the transfer the following Tuesday.

To add, my smiley face was Wednesday evening but the transfer was Tuesday morning. So if yours was Sunday morning later of Thursday would be similar timing
