What does your clinic send you home with after embryo transfer/FET? I was a bit baffled by mine.

I'm just curious to know if either or both of these is 'a thing' and I just didn't know about it?

  1. They showed me the transfer on the ultrasound monitor, then printed out a photo, like a scan photo, and handed it me.

  2. They gave me a little box of chocolates.

I would really like to know if your clinic does anything, and if so what? And what did you make of it? Thank you!

Aww that seems really nice! We also got a print out of the transfer ultrasound but that’s it, feeling duped now 🤭 Joking obviously, they gave me the best thing ever… my baby 🩷 Good luck OP!

Interesting. Mine gave me a photo of the embryo that the embryologist took under the microscope. They gave me the choice at the time if I wanted them to print one off for me or not. They also gave me a pregnancy test in a paper bag.

We got a picture of the embryo being popped in and sheets of info about when to test, what to do with meds etc. No chocolates! That's a nice touch

Thanks all. You reminded me, @BlueberryStar, they gave me a pregnancy test too.

Anyone else? (I am asking for a reason.)

We dont get photos or anything but we get all the formalities paperwork like our appointment for when to come in for our beta, we get all the read out sheets of dos and donts in the 2ww and early pregnancy, we can a foods lists of what we can and can not eat in the 2ww and pregnancy and we get told good luck and sent on our way. Im probably missing something but thats what I remember from my last transfer back in July.

That sounds so useful! I wish we'd had that.
