Is IVF an option with high FSH and low estrogen?

Hello,

I just had a fertility blood panel done and the GPs said that my FSH and Oestradiol/estrogen levels are abnormal. My FSH is 13.9 and my estrogen is 88. LH is fine. I'm 35 years old and it looks like I'm going into perimenopause.

We also have male factor issues too, so would be looking at ICSI.

Does any one have any success stories with similar hormone levels? Is IVF still a viable option?

Thanks in advance!

Yes IVF is a viable option! FSH fluctuates monthly, at your age it will likely be lower on another month. I'm 34, 2 months ago my FSH was 18.2 and last month it was 12.2, so it varies a lot!

You need to raise estrogen levels to bring down FSH, DHEA 25mg is best for this as well as estrogen supporting foods.

Thanks so much for commenting! That's really helpful to know about the fluctuation of your levels. If you don't mind me asking, what's your experience with fertility? Have you gone through IVF? I also looked up DHEA and there was talk of side effects. Have you taken it and what was your experience? I hadn't heard of it before!
