Skin rash due to fertility treatment - anyone else?

I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this as I think it’s hormone/fertility related

I had a laparoscopy in December and after that, I had really itchy skin and started to get tiny spots on my body which disappeared a day later. Not painful, just itchy. They appeared mainly on my thighs, belly and upper arms. Spoke to a dermatologist and got a cream to relive itching but that was it. It seemed to go away a bit but not fully in the following months.

I had my egg collection at the end of May and the same thing as happened! I feel like a dermatologist will be useless but not sure how to deal with it. It really does seem to be related to people poking my ovaries with sharp objects.

Anyone had similar?

Hi OP, I have had a red rash appear on my face after both egg collections. I thought it was a reaction the the antibiotics on the first round, so on the second round the clinic gave me a different antibiotic but the same thing happened! I think it must be a combination of the many drugs we are given. Mine calmed down after a couple of days but yes it is concerning.

Thank you for the reply! Mine isn’t quite a rash, but just random spots. I’ll ask my doctor this week about it
