Anyone tested negative early but got a positive after few days?

Hi, I had a 3AA FET transfer on Monday. The clinic thawed the embryo in morning (3AA when frozen) & it hadn’t progressed until afternoon. They had said it was noting to worry & some embryos take time to progress.

Got a BFN today morning - 6dp5dt. Is it too early to test? Did anyone get negative on day 5-6 but got a positive later on?
or am I out?

@CBeeng 3Aa FET here as well but on Friday. What test did you use? Some of the tests are more sensitive to pick it up earlier than others

I used the cheap Amazon ones. Good luck with your cycle

I would still test Tuesday morning if I were you. It may have been a bit too early. Hope everything works out for you @CBeengx

Hi @CBeeng, please correct me if I'm wrong, but if it was a 3AA, frozen on day 3, then you are 6dp3dt, equivalent to 9dpo, no? If so, I'd imagine this is still far too early to test and you are not out. Sending you lots of luck!!!!

@ali2021 it was a 3AA blastocyst of 5 days so I said post 5 days I.e. frozen as 3AA on day 5 post egg collection.

my original transfer date was 24th but the lining wasn’t ready, so it was moved to 26th

Cheap Amazon tests aren't very sensitive from my experience, first response are the best brand for early testing, which can also be bought from Amazon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/First-Response-Early-Result-Pregnancy/dp/B001DULLKE

3AA means a slower developing (but great quality) embryo so it may just take a couple of extra days to implant 🤞🏼

The waiting game is hard. Not like I have not been there before 😀

@CBeeng I hear you, it is painful.I agree on the tests and think give it a day or two.
I’ve just watched Joy - the birth of IVF and have been in tears all afternoon. I don’t know why I’ve done this to myself.

@CBeeng day 6 post transfer and I’m not sure - is it a symptom? Is it the drugs? I haven’t tested yet and trying to hold off. A little scared. How are you doing?

I tested positive but then line got lighter & now coming as negative. So I think chemical.

@CBeengI’m so sorry to hear that. My previous cycle was a chemical and nothing prepares you for it. I will be doing immunology testing/microbiome testing if this round doesn’t work x

Sorry you had to go through that. I’ve been there before & it hurts the same every time.
