Healthy snacks to ward off comfort eating!

Hi everyone - currently doing our first round of IVF. Not sure if it’s the hormones or the emotional time, but all I want to do is comfort eat and have loads of biscuits/chocolate/ice-cream/cake!

Our clinic hasn’t given specific diet advice, except to cut out caffeine and alcohol and to eat healthily. I eat well-ish with freshly prepared home cooked food but definitely eat quite a lot of sweet treats as well. I’m trying not to stress too much about changing my diet.

Has anybody got any simple suggestions for substituting chocolate/biscuits etc with something that feels like a sweet treat, but is a bit healthier and will make me feel full between meals?

Thanks!!

Chew a stevia leaf. Seriously, so sweet. Great plant to have on the patio. My little boy was always chewing it 😂

Organic dark chocolate nuts, Forest Whole Foods have a good selection!

Thank you for all of the tips!! I added some of these to my weekly shop… I’ll be honest I ate them on top of what I usually ate. 😅 But will try to be better this week!

Particularly loving dried apricots and boiled eggs (obviously not together ha)
