Were you super emotional / hormonal
In between your egg collection and your period arriving ?

( whilst blastocysts were being pgta tested ?)

I don’t recall being particularly hormonal at all during any part of ivf which surprised me as I get awful pms and am sensitive to hormones. I got my period quite quickly because I triggered with buserelin as I was at risk for ohss.
I will say the wait for pgta was really tough though. I’m not in the uk and had to wait 6 weeks for my pgta results which was so long. How long will you have to wait ? Best of luck with everything .

worldwidetravel2017 · 08/05/2025 10:15

Aww
Thats a long wait.
Sorry to hear that

Mines 1 - 2 weeks

Ultimately - we could hear next week

@worldwidetravel2017 they did so far and I’m 34 weeks pregnant now. I got 2 euploids out of 5 embryos. The 2 top graded were complex abnormal and discarded. My first transfer worked. This is after over 3 years ttc with one miscarriage for chromosomal abnormalities and apart from that no hint of a bfp. I’m glad I did pgta to save some of those transfers that never would have worked anyway.

Ace - congrats on your pregnancy

All of ours are high graded / top quality eek

4 of them turned to blastocysts by day 4 - so much conflicting stuff online about that

Hopefully a couple of the six at least will be normal

Yep

1 euploid

And 1 low mosaic

Atm we will fet the euploid thats pgta normal and was labelled top quality in embryo watching week

Atm we feel that if it doesnt stick - we will likely leave the low mosaic frozen and do another egg collection..
Thats how we currently feel.

I have to quickly down reg before fet

☆☆☆☆☆

Very glad we did pgta as 4 of the 6 were abnormal

Due to my age and pcos

But the euploid was one of the blastocysts day 4 ones
