Day 8 stims - how many follicles did you have ?

Just wondering.

I have no idea what the normal / average range is

This is not a question which will yield any applicability to your own circumstances given the variability of AFC/ AMH etc. Average irrelevant.

The nurse told me she was happy with my day 8 but was just curious

By day 8 of stimulation you should have an approximate sense of the follicles that will be in mature size range by retrieval day - though some can unexpectedly catch up/ not every follicle will definitely yield a mature egg.

Hi @worldwidetravel2017 it will depend on how many follicles were seen at baseline scan. For example, 3 good size follicles on day 8 may be great if baseline is 5. This is not so great if your baseline is 15, but not the end of the world either. The goal during stims is to maximise your potential. This means ideally, getting the most number of follicles to grow at the same-ish size at the same time. Good luck.
