Hey all,

I had IVF this year and fell pregnant against all odds. However, I miscarried at 8 weeks at the end of February 😢

I'm feeling really low about it all. I'm in my late 30s, have endometriosis and 1 fallopian tube, the other is still there but it's blocked.

After much deliberation, we have decided not to do IVF again but we are struggling with intimacy post miscarriage.

I'd really like to hear your miracle natural conception stories for a little hope. All feels lost right now.

My best friend had IVF for her first due to low AMH and male factor. She conceived naturally (much to her great surprise) the second time and it happened almost straight away. Wishing you lots of luck 😊

That's so lovely to hear and I'm so pleased it all worked out for your friend. Thank you for sharing. We really just want even just 1 little miracle but it feels so out of reach right now x

Hi,

I could have written this post a few years ago- although I haven't done ivf.
I've got stage 4 endometriosis and deeply infiltrating endometriosis.
I had surgery a few years ago where they removed my left fallopian tube.
I got married at age 36. I took a cocktail of supplements and managed to get pregnant naturally but had a chemical pregnancy, I added more supplements then got pregnant again but had a missed miscarriage at week 9- i even saw the heartbeat. That pregnancy broke me, I still cry about it because it was so difficult.
I added more supplements and managed to fall pregnant again with my double rainbow. This time early pregnancy gave me progesterone which I believe was the key. I now have a 7 week old baby sleeping next to me.
My pregnancy wasn't easy- I bled throughout till the end and every bleed I felt like baby is gone but he stuck! I'm 38 years old so not a young mum.
I know how hard it is mentally when you've had a miscarriage, you never get over it. Take your time and grieve. But don't lose hope. On paper I shouldn't have been able to concive naturally but I always had a positive mindset which I believe was key. I never thought it wouldn't happen for me.
Keep positive, take your supplements and I pray you get your happiness 🙏
Don't lose hope ❤️

This response means a lot, thank you so much for taking the time out to share your experience. It has been so difficult to keep positive and hopeful. We were so happy it happened but devastated it didn't work out for us this time. It really tests your relationship too. We're good, I just feel really sad, it comes in waves.

Your story has definitely restored a little hope. I'm so so pleased it all worked out for you. We are praying too, even if we only ever have just the one 🙏🏼❤️🌈
