Would you tell partner if you tested early?

On my other IVF cycles I managed to wait until testing day but this time I couldn’t resist and now have a faint line at 6dp5dt (no trigger shot so not that). I can’t decide whether to tell DH yet or wait for testing day as I know it could easily end up a chemical and we have had lots of disappointments before. What did others in a similar situation do?

I did because then we could share the excitement (tentatively) together but if anything went wrong we could also support each other 😊 good luck!

100% tell them, you are not going through this alone, they should share the excitement and they need to know in case it is chemical as you don’t want to be holding that alone. Good luck!

Definitely tell your partner.

Thanks all for the advice! I checked it was still positive on a different type of test and told him.
