Cycle monitoring: Progesterone 5.7 nmol but follicle ruptured

Hi all, I’ve just had cycle monitoring with my fertility clinic. Had 2 scans which showed a dominant follicle and its rupturing. But had my progesterone blood test 7 days later and it came back as 5.7. So very low (had a similar result in October which was dismissed as a sampling error). We are likely going to be applying for IVF funding very soon. But this confuses me as the scan showed I ovulated but the progesterone suggests I didnt? Just looking for anyone who has had a similar experience really!

Could they tell how long ago it had ruptured? Sorry just checking as in the title it said ruptured but in the post it says rupturing - although I'm sure it's much of a muchness.

Firstly what did your clinic say about it, if anything?

It may be that you are advised to take progesterone supplements like pessaries and/or injections if they feel this is needed during IVF (it's usually needed for a fresh transfer but not always for frozen).

You may be able to have a look and see if there is a way to naturally increase your progesterone in the meantime. Certain vitamins/supplements and diet wise too may help (not sure how true it all is but I ate quite a lot of eggs and avocado on toast as well as oily fish and my progesterone seemed to increase when I did that compared to cycles with less of it).
