Stories from people who have had a pregnancy against all odds 🌈
Hello all,
In June 2023 I had excision surgery for stage 4 endometriosis. Surgery went well and I've been feeling fine since. I have regular periods. I have 1 blocked tube but both ovaries are fine.
I'm not 39 years old. We had 1 round of NHS funded IVF recently (started when I was 38) and it resulted in my first pregnancy but miscarried naturally at 8 weeks. It happened on the 24th February 2025 💔🥺😞 We will unlikely do another round of IVF due to the cost and also my body didn't really respond to the long protocol very well to begin with so the fact we did get pregnant first time was incredible news.
Just wondering if anyone has any positive pregnancy stories. Did anyone manage to concieve naturally 2 years post endo surgery / failed IVF at all?
I just feel so lost and empty every day and like I have no purpose. I've returned to work and love my job but also wake up feeling like "what's all this for?"
I'd love to hear your positive stories to bring me some hope again 🌈
