Positive ivf icsi with low amh and low motility

2 years ttc due to start ivf with icsi. Tests came back that I have low amh for my age at 9.5 I have just turned 30 my partner is 32 and has low motility. Looking for success and positive stories from anyone who has been in similar position. Nervous to start ivf but trying to remain positive about it all but so hard

Hi OP, I started freezing embryos from age 31 years due to low AMH (2.4-3.3pmol) and poor morphology (0-2%), I attempted 5 freezing rounds (3 successful) and got 7 frozen embryos.

Im now 34 and started transferring the embryos last year. First transfer worked but then ended in MMC, second was BFN, third worked and now almost 30 weeks pregnant and all looks good.

Honestly, it’s a hard journey but I think given you’re young, your AMH isn’t actually that low in comparison to many others and ICSI makes motility largely irrelevant, you stand a really good chance.

I agree. My AMH is 10 and I am 37. My husband had low motility and morphology.

Despite a low AMH, your eggs are probably good quality because of your age.

We have managed to get 2 embryos via ICSI and I am currently 2 days away from my official test date but already testing positive. Hopefully on Thursday I will allow myself to officially tell myself I'm 'pregnant.'

My amh was 3 when I was 30, I did have 2 terrible rounds of ivf but I think the clinic I went to just didn't tailor my meds or I stimed to long, most I got was 2 eggs that deteriorated day 4, changed clinics that specializes in low amh and amazingly got 8 mature eggs, currently 13 weeks pregnant and 2 embryos on ice!

Well they told me we had 0.5% chance of natural conception. First baby IVF icsi and he's now 3.... second baby conceived naturally. Partners sperm count classed as severely low.

Very low AMH, 1.9. And sperm factors too. First round with ICSI resulted in 4 mature eggs, 0 fertilisation.

@Clocloxx what did they change on your other protocols?

Hi I changed clinics, old clinic used 375ui of pergoveris, new one used 150ui meriofert. I read you're body can react differently to animal or human based stimulates

Meriofert - urine of post-menopausal women
