Hi ladies,

Starting early with this thread in hope some are on a similar time frame!

36yo, been trying to conceive for 2yrs. Severe MFI as well as AFC of 3 and AMH of 1.9pmol/l

First IVF cycle with ICSI ended with a total failed fertilisation - 4 eggs collected, all mature but no fertilisation.

We have now switched to long cycle and added in DHEA, COQ10, melatonin, vitamin D, omega 3 alongside our fertility vitamins.

I should start my period end of Jan; and then start down-regulating February with transfer hopefully late February if I’ve worked it out right!

Anyone else on this mental torture of a ride?

@Cherryblossom90 im not sure what day exactly I’d be due - just know it would be sometime in Nov (tempted to look it up now). My test date is the 3rd (of March)

@Toryory21 sensible advice! I am not usually an early tester but that’s because I often get 3/4 days of spotting before AF so always know I’m out way before I officially am. No idea what will happen this cycle but I’m hoping I’ll at least get to take a test before the spotting starts. I don’t know why I feel that’s mentally easier fingers crossed you still have a chance!

Hey ladies just going to flag that I have been one of those daily early testers and I now severely regret it!

Feel like at 8dp5dt that it’s not going to be good news (been using the cheap tests) and wish I had just waited for the bad news next week rather than this awful limbo… so if you are in your TWW .. I’d recommend staying away from the tests xxxx

@LuckyFlash congrats on your ET and hopefully at least some of the developing embryos will make it to freeze stage!
If you don't mind asking Im so confused how can your due date be the 3rd or 4th of November when mine is the the 5th of November and your period started a little after mine if I remember correctly? 😅😂I mean I don't have a positive pregnancy test yet so not sure why I'm worrying about due dates! Feel free to ignore me!

I hope so too!Trying not to look into every slight change or cramp i feel
If it doesn't work do you still get a bleed whilst being on oestrogen & progesterone?or will that happen once i stop taking meds?didn't ask the clinic x

@Nads2210 Me personally I always had to come off the progesterone pessaries to bleed (even with a negative test or mmc).

I think the whole point is they stop you bleeding. The clinic would advise how quickly to stop meds after a negative pregnancy test.

Thank you, I did think this would be the case, Anyway i shouldnt even think of a neg test manifest 2 pink lines!
I did have a real neg moment before as norm before periods due i get like a surge of energy to clean etc & i ended up cleaning the kitchen!!But no point in doing my typical over thinking i'll know soon enough x

@Nads2210 best not to over think these things! Tbh my test date and AF (if I was not on progesterone) is only Wendsday. I don't usually experience pre-period symptoms many days in advance anyway, so I feel fine for now tg! I'm working near a poundland over the weekend so if I get a chance I think I might pop in for a really (very) cheap pregnancy test pack (if they still do them!) and maybe test on Monday morning.....

Aww good luck!!Really hope you get a BFP!Ive got some cheap strips (50 in a pack 😂) but they do the job & ive got a clearblue from god knows how long ago that'l be used if the cheapy ones show 2 lines lol
It's good you dont get AF symptoms days before its a head mess

@Toryory21 so sorry to read this

Isnt it strange how each clinic have different dates for OTD. My friend who had ET on Monday is due to next this coming Monday, so 7 days post transfer.

Hi everyone from my three little follicles I've had 4 eggs retrieved today so while that not a high number compared to other people it's more than we expected so we just have everything crossed for good news over the weekend! Also I don't remember a thing from during egg collection those drugs they use are fabulous!
