Any peeps having IVF/ICSI/FET in Dec.
I am due to start meds 1st Dec this will be my frozen transfer from my 2nd cycle in August have stocked up on beetroot and pomegranate juice, looking for any tips 🙏🏼

So I'm 9 days past 5 day transfer was going out with friends and thought I'm testing just a cheep 99p one, (wanted to know if I could have soft cheese and a glass of wine)
I have a faint line 😬 would you say this is too faint for 9 days past sorry it's a bad picture was in my car

Oh, that's different then! Could be a positive sign! You'll find out soon, only a few days left until testing 🙂

Hi all.

I'm 7dpt5dt and been testing since 4dpt, tests have been faint(ish) but positive since 5dpt. I'm terrified it's a chemical or an ectopic and every morning I expect the test to be negative. Its so stressful, still a week to go until the official test date but I think even if its positive still on that day I will be a nervous wreck until the first scan.

Does anyone have any good tips for dealing with the anxiety? Have already banned myself from googling and reading about negative stuff and limiting myself to testing first thing in the morning only.

This is today's not much darker but as I've said they are really cheep ones as no where was open 🤣 stupidly didn't buy a sensitive one as I knew I'd break and test early
Do we all think this is looking ok, I thought this would be the good bit I'm now so scared

@camelinastorm congrats on your bfps and looking like great progression since yesterday! I also had a chemical / early loss this time last year. I understand the guarded heart. Remind me where you are DPT wise?

@AMMxx welcome to the thread. I'm 6dp5dt also testing since 4dp5dt and faint. I saw it developing evening of 4dp5dt but husband said I was mad. Yesterday he could just about see it and today it's there. I'm hoping they start to get darker I had a chemical / Welty loss this exact time last year so I'm incredibly anxious too an understand how you're feeling.

I try ink it sounds like you've made some great barriers for your mental health. The best thing to do is to keep yourself occupied so you are distracted. I find it's the only way I don't spiral. Using this three has helped me too. It's a very positive thread and everyone's been really supportive of one another.

I've provisionally booked 2 x BETA blood tests to help me manage. I know they will give me the information I need. I'll carry on with drugs regardless etc. But my clinic set OTD of NYE which was 13dp5dt and so late. I know I can't deal with that much limbo.

thank you for the tips, makes sense. I’m starting running again (had the first few days off post transfer) very very gently so that will hopefully help clear the head a bit.

Did you book the blood tests via your clinic or your GP? Would the level of HcG shown in those be a conclusive indicator of whether it’s a chemical or not?

@camelinastorm good luck to you! I’m sure I have read about other women having faint lines even later on in the process and still had a viable pregnancy. The main thing at the moment is that there is definitely a line there x

Morning all and merry Christmas 🎄 I'm 5dp5dt and tested with a digital test saying Not Pregnant 😭 but I realise it's still early and I still have cramping, discharge and yesterday felt nauseous so I'm holding out hope that it's simply too early for it to show! 🙏 OTD is 31/12

@AMMxx I'm okay thank you. FRER this morning marginally darker and I got a positive on digital clear blue this morning! Praying it's my Christmas miracle and sticks! 💫 Nervous as this time last year I was in the same place and in 5 days time my tests started getting lighter. I booked them through a local private clinic that turns results around in 24 hours. It won't be conclusive but if the tests show that my HCG is doubling properly I will be able to relax a bit. Last year I ended up in A&E and the EPU snd they used blood tests every 48 hours to monitor. When they stopped rising properly is when they told me to expect to a chemical and to start bleeding within a week.

@camelinastorm that's some great line progression there. Try to relax a little. If my lines get darker I'll be able to relax a bit. Have you thought about using a FRER or digital? There was something lovely about seeing the clear blue say pregnant this morning. It might out your mind at rest?

@charja100 yes will be getting digital when the shops reopen, I live in a tiny village no real shops apart from ones miles away and it was just too busy to attempt at going to them 😂 I'm off boxing day shopping for tests 😂

I'm 6dp5dt and started bleeding today (looks like period blood) 😭 I felt twinges, cramps and discharge until 4dp5dt but then it went away 😳 My period has started 2 days early so not sure if I should keep testing or admit defeat??

I just tested, nice and early as I couldn't sleep well. It's negative. I'm out this time 🥺

@Lil89 I would definitely call the clinic, they will be able to say if you should keep testing and also advise on where to go from here.

@charja100 when are your blood tests? That sounds like a good idea for some peace of mind !
My OTD is on Monday and my clinic simply tells you to do a test and call them with the results. I'll obviously do that but if they don't offer a blood test I will ask if I can have one. I feel it would be much worse finding out at the first scan that the pregnancy isn't proceeding especially when you go in there expecting a heartbeat etc...
