IVF/ICSI/FET December 2024

Any peeps having IVF/ICSI/FET in Dec.
I am due to start meds 1st Dec this will be my frozen transfer from my 2nd cycle in August have stocked up on beetroot and pomegranate juice, looking for any tips 🙏🏼

@PrincessofLiechtenstein how many days is 6 cells? Are you at day 5 now? 2 strong ones is good! 1 for transfer 1 for freeze 🤞

@SamVan really sorry to hear that and so glad you're somewhere where you can relax. It's also good you have what you need with you to just go again straight away in the early new year.

@Cosyseason1234 off to my local pub to scoff all the mac and cheese and all the puddings 😂😂 Going to try and have few hours worry free as can already feel the niggle of will they fertilise…

I tested yesterday even though I know its too early (day 5pt of 5 day embryo) and had a BFN, I had asked my partner to hide all the tests but managed to find some old ones in my washbag!! Still have zero symptoms so convinced this cycle hasn't worked but will try and wait until the OTD next week. It's so hard! And I have no will power ...

@NouvelleNovice were the tests you find in your washbag in date??

Had my embryo transfer this afternoon. My clinic doesn't give rating as the ones you guys have been talking about. They just told me it was a 10/10 embryo. I will know about the quality of the 4 remaining, tomorrow.

Very happy with everything, I just hope this good embryo does stick...

After saying I wouldn't, I caved and did a test. Me and my partner realised we'd be worrying all weekend and that we didn't want to get bad news at work on Monday if it was negative. There were two quite strong lines! Not going to get too excited at this early stage (11dpt) but I'm glad we're going in the right direction and that my earlier IBS pain has paid off so far 😂

@SamVan amazing that you can unwind in paradise and how clever to be so prepared. It took me a long time to get to a place here I stopped living life on hold and we had a year like that this year between tests and egg collection.

@SamVan I'm so sorry about your negative result. I had it last time and found it really difficult to process. Hopefully you can pause the processing and make the most of your lovely holiday.

To add to some good news, I also tested today (9dp5dt) and got strong lines on FRER and CB.
Went and had my HCG blood test and they called me earlier to say it's 185 (much better than the 15 from last time!!)
Still early days but I have my next blood test on Tuesday - just hope it sticks and my hcg goes up...

Thank you @Eagerlywaiting1990. It's been a hell of a journey to get to this point. We're lucky this last round was our most successful despite being almost 40. We were able to send 6 embryos for testing and three came back euploid. We are transferring on Wednesday. I'm really excited for this transfer just really hoping it's our time now. I'm not sure how much more heartbreak my heart can take xxx

@charja100 - they said it was 6mm
today but was 7.6mm two days ago 🤷‍♀️ She said it can fluctuate. Due to start progesterone on Sunday and hope that helps. Scan to check lining on Tuesday. If any little embryos make it and lining isn’t where they like it, they’ll freeze x

late to the party! I was on another forum back in Oct/nov - we had a chemical unfortunately. That was our 5th FET for a sibling.

i am now 2dp5dt from a modified natural cycle. 3ab transferred. Feeling well with some sort of back pain/ heavy sort of feeling in uterus. Test day is on Friday 20th xx

I was quite relaxed with egg collection knowing that I wouldn't remember a thing and pain relief.

I hated my smear test and the team told me to take two paracetamols to help with the pain beforehand. My cervix was really hard and hard to locate.
Hoping it's easier this time.

hi all, hope you dont mind me joining late! I recognise a few names from previous months. I've started a new round in Prague after a failed fresh and a chemical after my frozen transfer in October.
I had my egg collection yesterday (7 retrieved, 5 mature) and had the update that 3 have fertilised this morning. I'm a little gutted as this is the update I had last time after only 4 eggs being retrieved.
Fingers crossed these ones stick around!!

None of my 4 eggs fertilised. I am absolutely distraught.
