How many embryos did you bank per baby?

So if you wanted 2 children how many did you bank? Were they euploid or just untested day 5 (or 3?) blastocysts?

I didn't bank anything (although I think it is a good idea). I do have PCOS though so got a high embryo count .

It took 5 untested to have my son, we have 9 left and hope to get another child from them. I was 29 at the time of collection.

I based it on the fact that 3 rounds of IVF is considered optimal for chance of success (if IVF has a success rate per round of about 30% subject to other factors)

So when I was doing IVF for a sibling for my eldest I wanted at least 3 banked (and ideally wanted 2 children from IVF) so aimed for 6.

As it happened I had twins from a double transfer and then have 2 still frozen (due to divorce now won't be used)

I tested a couple and didn't get any normals. Decided not to test again but switched protocol to low dose natural modified ivf and then did 3 back to back egg collections
