My husband and I have recently been semi-approved to pursue ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) through the NHS due to issues with sperm morphology, where we have 0% normal forms & a low sperm count. We’ve recently visited two fertility clinics and want to make sure we choose one that will give us the best chance of success - especially as we are only entitled to 1 cycle before the age of 35.
Could you please share your experiences or advice on what to look for when selecting a clinic?
Specifically:
- What factors should we consider when evaluating a clinic’s success rates?
- Are there particular services or technologies that are crucial for ICSI?
- Should we prioritise clinics that offer additional support services like counseling or nutrition advice?
- Any other tips for making the most informed choice?
I understand each individual will have a different experience and outcome, but we are struggling to decide between two clinics (TFP Wessex vs Complete Fertility Southampton).
