@Natty2 sorry missed you have a scan too! Wishing you the best of luck too x

Natty2 · 04/09/2024 10:21

All checked over and baby is doing ok! Such a relief after all the pain this week.
We're also probably going to cancel our gender scan on Saturday now as we had a little hint that baby is boy 🩵 which has been my gut feel from day 1!!

HopefulllHolly · 04/09/2024 11:21

Hi everyone! Little lady is perfect 😍 measuring as she should be and all her organs and spine look good. Got some cute pictures of her feet and little toes too. So relieved! Feels like it’s actually real now!

@HopefulllHolly ah, i just logged on to see if you'd updated, so so happy it's all looking good. What great news :) Yes, you should try enjoy it now, you're over the half way mark so it's all a count down from here! I can't wait to get past the 20 week scan, I've promised myself to try enjoy it all after then as this will be my last ever pregnancy.

On maternity leave, I'm planning to go off at Xmas. My office closes for that Xmas/New year period so I just will start my mat leave in early Jan and then hopefully have a few weeks to chill before baby comes.

I actually ended up having a quick visit to the hospital yesterday as I had a little worrying pain and discharge so I just went to the maternity walk in and saw a lovely midwife, horray! She listened to the babies heartbeat and it was loud and beating away which was all I needed to hear to be reassured. She was great, reassured me I did the right thing to come in and said I should always have a low threshold for coming back if anything ever feels a concern.

@DippyDuck19 congrats to you too on a great 20 week scan, sorry about the bleeding that must be stressful, but glad it sounds like nothing to worry about.

@Fluffyted Omg, I can't believe all the wrong results and advice given to you! I'm also allergic to asprin and it's highlighted all over my notes, which presumably yours is too. Glad it wasn't anything to worry about in the end, but you shouldn't have been but through that. Hope you're okay.

@lemonyfox and @Always28 Great news on your 12 week scans, congrats!

@Always28 that is so weird about the MatB1 forms, I thought they weren't allowed to give them out before you 'pass' the 20 week scan. My hospital say to expect it at my 28 week midwife appointment.

@Natty2 Good luck for your 16 week appointment next week.

ThePeachGoose · 04/09/2024 12:59

@HopefulllHolly Happy Birthday for Monday! sorry to hear that you’ve been struggling with anxiety and that you hurt your wrist and hand! Sounds scary to have happened in the middle of the road too! I’m with @LouP87 I feel like I walk around more lazily and with less intention and that one day I’ll hurt myself somehow, especially on the stairs. I’m currently getting quotes to have a runner installed on them to provide more grip. They’re naked at the moment, with grip strips. Pleased to hear that your midwife was so lovely at the time though! And massive congratulations on your successful scan and crossing another milestone! I hope that the scan will calm down your anxiety for a bit. What a little darling you have in there

@oliviagrace2307 pleased to read that your nausea is finally easing up!

@Edf ah so pleased you got a referral for CBT. Hope they slot you in soon. I’ve done CBT when I turned 30 and my god, I found it sooo beneficial for the years to come. Before deciding whether to do it, I read the book "CBT for dummies" and did their exercises, and even with just that I could see some benefits. I hope you find it just as helpful! Congratulations on crossing the 20 week milestone! Your post and your gymnast made me chuckle. I love seeing what they’re up to in there.

@Fluffyted congratulations on crossing the 20 week mark and pleased that you were able to find out the gender eventually, also that you had such a nice experience at window to the womb! also WTH with that midwife letter! After the BBC announcement that pregnant women will be offered the RSV vaccine, my GP invited me for the vaccine on Sat. So I rang to ask them if that's right, because I'll only be 15 weeks by that point and the NHS website says that you're supposed to have it after 28 weeks. They said that I'm right and they're so thankful that I brought this to their attention. And to talk to my midwife when I get closer to 28 weeks. So bizarre! You constantly have to double check them.

@lemonyfox and @summerchild92 congratulations on graduating from the progesterone! and congratulations on successful 12 week scans along with @Always28 ! I hope you'll be able to relax more into your second trimester once the symptoms start fading a bit too, and that you'll have a smooth pregnancy with no stress from here on

@LouP87 sorry about what sounds like an annoying sonographer? I’d be worried as well with the hospital insisting on repeating a scan, but I’m sure all is fine and it will be a great opportunity to take another look at your little baby. Thanks for the tip on the JL nursery appt discount!

@DippyDuck19 OMG I’m so sorry to hear about your heavy bleeding at 21 weeks! Eeeeeek! Good thing you were due to have a scan in a matter of hours! And I’m so pleased that all looked well, what a crazy experience. My gosh, what a nightmare with lying on your back. Can’t believe it started so early, but hope you’re feeling better now. I’m now worried because I’m a back sleeper and I thought I had until the 3rd trimester. Are you still having red bleeding? From my experience, when it turns to brown, you can start relaxing a bit, and no cramping is always a good sign. Thanks for sharing your prams and car seats hands-on experience, very useful! We need to book a session too, so far we’ve just explored Mamas & Papas and JL on our own

@Natty2 sorry to hear about your pain and treatment from the midwife! I’m so, so pleased to hear that the scan went well

@AnnieStar12 our first birth date of the group! 31st Jan, how exciting. That's my husband's birthday, a little Aquarius. Nice to have a date to plan towards! Did you request a c-section or did they offer you one due to your personal pregnancy profile?

@DippyDuck19 @Always28 @AnnieStar12 My midwife filled out a form and I got an email for the maternity prescription exemption at my booking appt at 10 weeks, but not sure whether it covers the other free services as it doesn’t say mat1b specifically, it just seems to be for prescriptions. I think that’s yet to come? It’s all unclear.

ThePeachGoose · 04/09/2024 13:08

On my end, I’m 15 weeks tomorrow and things have definitely changed a bit in the 2nd trimester. Nausea is completely gone and I’ve been able to return to most of my previous meals and snacks, but I’ve found my energy fluctuates - on some days I feel like I’m not even pregnant (my pregnancy book says to enjoy it while it lasts lol), while on other days I need to lie down every few hours. The hormone profile must have changed too as my face is very spotty and I’m having way more discharge than before. Otherwise, I’ve had enough energy to restart my home pregnancy yoga twice a week and I’ve also upped it with a routine from one of my pregnancy books with squats, planks and biceps curl. Tomorrow I’m going for a prenatal yoga session in my neighbourhood and hopefully from next week I can restart seeing my PT. I feel so weak after 3 months of no working out, with aches and pains, and I’m also discovering that I can’t do everything that I used to do before, that I’m trying to find my way through it all again. I’m not convinced right now that I can even lift a car seat alone without getting back aches yikes!

Funny thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I got a pain in my side abdomen after doing some twists (which now I know I shouldn’t be doing anymore, I think I had pulled a muscle or it was round ligament pain) and the pain was coming and going, pulsating sometimes. I could feel it in the middle of the night when I went to the loo and was wondering whether this is something I should inform the midwives about, but then I thought it’s definitely not a cramp or a contraction, and I can’t be bothered to go back to the hospital after having 7 scans in the 1st trimester and being there almost weekly, so I let it be and it disappeared after 2 days. So that’s the level I’m at right now, way more relaxed after 12 weeks, especially with the multitude of check-ups I’ve had. My next appointment is with a midwife next Friday at 16 weeks which should be interesting judging by the stories I’ve read on here. I’m planning to ask for a c-section, so I’ll let you know how that goes! I’m also finally stopping the Cyclogest that day and I can’t wait. Luckily I’ve had no more bleeding and it’s been smooth sailing in the past few weeks. I’ve also had the Covid vax at the weekend privately for an eye-watering £98 at Boots and have had no side effects. Just arm pain and my shoulder muscles tensing a bit.

Otherwise I’ve started my research on bedside cribs, pram systems, car seats and cot beds and my gosh, such a minefield! Agree with @Natty2 and @Fluffyted that it’s veeeery overwhelming. Very useful to read everyone’s choices and experiences about these on here. My husband is very into the Cybex e-priam because we live on a steep hill but it’s so humongous! We also have some stairs up to the house which should be fun to navigate every time with any pram. We live in London but we also have a car so not sure what to prioritise (car or public transport travel as atm we use both, but it might lean more towards the car once we have the baby). Friends say you ultimately end up with a pram system and then a lighter pram to take around on day trips, travel etc. On the bedside crib I can’t decide between the Tutti Bambini (which apparently gets a side tilt with the baby sliding towards the wall in their sleep), Maxi Cosi Iora (I think this is the one where people might find a mouldy bed board yikes) and the Snuz one. My husband is into a vtech camera. Originally we wanted something like Cube but we're so bad with our phones always on silent modes that we’re worried that with an app we’ll miss the notifications and drain our batteries checking every 5 mins. That’s as far as we got lol I imagine it will take a few months to settle on anything, but look forward to hear more about your purchases and preferences in baby gear

DippyDuck19 · 04/09/2024 13:32

@Natty2 congratulations on your scan. Glad everything is looking ok. And another little boy for the group 🩵

@HopefulllHolly glad your little girl is doing well. Your scan photo is cute!
Mine yesterday wouldn't move to get a good photo. He was either holding onto his chin or opening his mouth wide 😂
I decided to call in sick again today. Bleeding had eased yesterday but had more this morning. Decided it was best not to rush back!

@AnnieStar12 sorry you also had a bit of a scare yesterday too but glad you got checked and everything ok.

@ThePeachGoose the timing couldn't have been better yesterday! But still red bleeding today. But I can feel him moving about today so that's reassuring.
The sonographer also said it's weird for me to have that episode during the scan. It is usually third trimester but not completely unheard of. I never lie on my back though as I find it too uncomfortable!

As for the MatB1 form. My midwife emailed me back and said they give it at the 25 week appointment but if I want it sooner to give to work then they can send it. I've asked for it to be sent sooner just in case HR are slow. My 25 week appointment is 3rd October and planning to finish work end of November. So getting the form now at least gives HR an extra 3-4 weeks.

AnnieStar12 · 04/09/2024 13:56

@ThePeachGoose ah glad you're feeling a bit better in second trimester, sounds like things are going smoothly for you now.

About your question on c-section, I am planning one because my last baby was an emergency c-section. From what I've read, and after speaking to the consultant, it seems like the safest thing is to go for a planned c-section at 39 weeks. I can change my mind nearer the time and try for a vaginal birth, but sounds like if I don't go in to natural labour by 39+6 they would give me a c-section anyways as I'm over 40 and my hospital policy is not to let the pregnancy go overdue at my age. And they won't induce me as it's dangerous where you've had a previous c-section, so all those things considered it doesn't really feel like there is much choice for me.

But regardless of medical need, everyone can opt for a C-Section. That is the NHS policy - so it is totally you're right to ask for one, though I do know some people who've had to 'convince' their hospital.

I have now had 2 vaginal births and 1 c-section and there's no better way, there are pros and cons to both so you should do whatever feels best for you.

Fluffyted · 04/09/2024 14:50

Awwww sooo many scan pics!!! 😍😍 what a lovely surprise to see!!

@lemonyfox congratulations on your 12 week scan!!! What a lovely picture 😍🥰❤️
These babies deffo have their own minds already 🤣

@Always28 awww your scan pic ❤️😍 congratulations on getting to 12 weeks!! So exciting. Glad your scan went really well!

@HopefulllHolly awww your scan pic 🥰😍❤️ so magical 🩷 I'm so glad your little lady is doing well & growing perfectly.
how was your anxiety before the scan today? I think you hit the nail on the head - that we are much more attached to the babies at this stage and much more worried something might go / be wrong.
no I actually haven't seen the Emma Willis ones - I'll have to check them out, thank you! It might make me feel more at ease about it all 🤞🏼 thank you so much.
How are the seraphine maternity jeans? I was thinking of buying some from seraphine because they look really comfy!
I'm living in maternity leggins at the moment - they are the most comfiest clothes I've ever worn 🤣 I'm deffo gonna still be wearing them even a year after the birth 🙈😂

It's crazy how they don't fit into the scan pics very well now!! I only have a burry head for mine scan pic so didn't share it 😂😂 she zoomed in and the baby must have moved because I have 3 copies of the same blurry head pic 🤣

@DippyDuck19 how are you feeling today lovely? Honestly I think a bleed would make us all feel the same! And with no answers (thought that could be a good sign) makes it harder to digest. I hope you are ok!!
Ohhh your annual leave / mat leave plan sounds perfect!!! To finish at the end of November would be a dream!!
I'm planning on starting Mat leave on 18th December - just under 4 weeks before my babies due date. Though now I'm thinking that might be too close 🙈

@Natty2 I know, it's crazy!! I'm hanging onto all the good stories I've heard about how lovely midwives normally are and hoping it will all get better 🤞🏼 I also thought midwives were the most caring people in the world and super friendly 🙈

@AnnieStar12 yes it's all over my notes!! To be honest it sounds like nobody bothered to look at my notes until the Obstetrician did.
I'm ok thank you, I felt so much relief when I found out it was the wrong result, before realising how bad it was that it actually happened.
Thank you for the info on your planned c-section. That deffo sounds like the best & safest option for you ❤️ takes all the stress & worry away too!
Ohhh I didn't realise we were allowed to ask for one even if there was no medical reason. Every time I spoke to a midwife they have really pushed the "natural" vaginal birth and haven't even mentioned a c-section as an option. I'll have to talk to my midwife at my next appointment.
That's good to know, I'm glad you have experience with giving birth both ways!! It's nice to hear honest opinions from women who've gone through it.
I seem to always be told the horror stories!!

@ThePeachGoose thank you ☺️🩷 it was such a good experience I want to book another one now 😂
omg!! I can't believe that, imagine you didn't question it and got the vaccine!! Probably wouldn't have done any harm but still, why is there such a mix up!? And so many medical people don't even know! We shouldn't have to double check anything because they all should know!! It really makes you loose faith a bit sometimes.
I'm so glad you are feeling better & your nausea has gone!! It's such a game changer. My energy levels still fluctuate but I guess that's probably normal 🤷🏻‍♀️ I really need to get my ass into gear and actually start exercising!!! I haven't started and i know I'll regret it if I don't but the sofa always looks so comfy 🤣

HopefulllHolly · 04/09/2024 14:58

Thanks everyone! Such a relief! Want to shout WE’RE HAVING A BABY off the roof top - feels such a long journey to have gotten here, I can’t believe it’s finally happening!

Annoyingly I didn’t see the obstetrician today (she wasn’t in!) so saw the registrar and she was over an hour late and useless. What really pissed me off was that she started going on about being induced at 40-41 weeks, I said I didn’t want to be induced and would like to have sweeps before that anyway. All fine, but I haven’t had a single conversation with any midwife or doctor at any point yet about my birth choices. If I hadn’t kind of read up on it I probably would have just agreed to induction. Seems wrong to me. Anyway - at my 25 week im going to start chatting to my community midwife about choices and what I need to say. Im not back at the hospital now until 29 weeks (unless I need growth scans for any reason), so I want to go in to that appointment telling them exactly what I want. Felt kind of railroaded today.

@AnnieStar12 Sounds like we have similar time scales to maternity leave and stuff then. Sorry to hear you’ve been having pain and stuff - but super glad you had a good midwife to help reassure you and that baby is fine and you got to hear the heartbeat at last! ❤️

@ThePeachGoose The stair work sounds like a good idea - will only get harder! Ours are carpeted by super steep and its already hard carrying the dog down and my giant water bottle 😂 at some point im going to have to get my partner to be my Sherpa and help me and the pooch down!
It’s great you are able to get back to exercising! Even small amounts make you feel a million times better. A girl from my school did cross fit the whole way through her pregnancy (not advised at all but she looked incredibly fit!). I definitely don’t have the energy for that. I find I have plenty of energy in the day but it runs out quickly - I think feeling normal only lasted until about 17 weeks and then I was snoozy again! 😴 Hope
you have some luck with your midwife at your 16 week appointment - mine hasn’t discussed birth choices at all yet with me! They don’t seem to like to! I’m hoping now I’m past the anomaly they’ll be more forthcoming! After my 16 week appt I got texts through inviting me to covid and flu jab appointments so I have mine in October and then the whooping cough later that month too. Shame you had to pay so much for them!! Could you not use your NHS exemption certificate you got at 12 weeks??
Ive no idea on bedside cribs - need to look at reviews for them really! Might do that this afternoon.

@DippyDuck19 Yeah I think she’s a lazy girl tbh! I did tell her this morning to be in a good position and she did as she was told lol ☺️ Part of me wouldn’t have minded going back though for another scan as they are so magical. The sonographer was lovely and showed us all of her - her tiny little hands moving, her moving her mouth and her heart and all the chambers. Was really interesting! I feel so happy now knowing she is fine and now I can cruise to 24 weeks and then onwards.
Glad to hear you’ve taken today off - im sure lots of rest will help stop the bleeding. It sounds like bleeding is totally random for those on here with it! Glad your midwife confirmed about the matb1 form - that’s what my community midwife had said too. I’m going to text her and ask for it next week though so I can do my risk assessment at work and chat to HR about annual leave to make sure I’m carrying over the right amount and using anything else I need to use so I don’t lose it.

HopefulllHolly · 04/09/2024 15:08

Oop - sorry @Fluffyted your post updated as I posted! ☺️

I weirdly stopped being anxious once I was in the hospital and just tried really hard to be confident it would be fine. I did have one moment in the scan where I pictured the sonographer saying something was wrong but quickly pushed it out my head. So I was quite calm and baby was too (last time I was so anxious she was bouncing all over the place 😣).
I like the seraphine jeans - one pair is much comfier than the others though as it’s got stretch. I’ve heard the H+M ones are mega comfy so im going to order some of those as I have a 25% off thing for my birthday from them. I’ll report back as they are much cheaper than seraphine ones and might be better! Im not sure if I just don’t find maternity jeans mega comfy as I’m used to wearing high waisted jeans and they are all low waisted with a massive waistband? I dunno! 🤣
I think your plan for your mat leave is about right - you could always take any holiday in December and start maternity straight after if you have any left? I’m trying to save as much maternity as poss for when baby is actually here rather than before. I think I have about 4 weeks off ahead of her coming (almost 3 weeks of annual leave and 1ish of Mat leave, back to back). Cannot bloody wait to finish now - roll on Christmas 😁🤣🤣🤣 We’ll all be massive by then and cursing everyone able to eat cheese and drink over Christmas while we’re about to pop!

Hope you’re doing ok? Anything to report?

OP posts:
DippyDuck19 · 04/09/2024 15:16

@Fluffyted am doing ok today. Still a little anxious but better than yesterday though! It nice there's no obvious cause of the bleeding but in a way i want an answer. Was the same when I bled at 7 weeks.

A friend quite rightly reminded me that some women have "periods" when pregnant and don't know they're pregnant there's no rhyme or reason for it. But when you know you are pregnant it's hard seeing blood!

I was tearful yesterday evening because I just want to enjoy this pregnancy. DP has been great at supporting me and trying to keep me positive. So today have been planning the nursery again.

@HopefulllHolly glad you had a lovely sonographer. Mine was lovely too! It was such an interesting scan seeing everything in detail! And wouldn't have minded going back again for another scan but baby was very cooperative!

DippyDuck19 · 04/09/2024 15:18

@HopefulllHolly the feet are soo cute. Our sonographer said they're about 3cm at this stage 😍

ThePeachGoose · 04/09/2024 16:06

@DippyDuck19 oh so sorry to hear that you’re still getting red bleeding and without a reason too. Thankfully you feel the baby moving at least and that hopefully will provide some reassurance until the bleeding stops. That’s great that the midwife can send you the MatB1 form earlier. You’re right, it must take HR a while to process everything.

@AnnieStar12 oh I see, thanks for sharing. Yeah, from speaking to friends I understand that it differs from midwife to midwife. Some just say okay here you go, others need a bit more convincing, but seem to be pretty okay with it if it’s due to anxiety and you’ve had any sort of treatment for it before (talking therapy or medication). We’ll see when i get there!

@Fluffyted oh I knoooow! I’ve asked friends and family who’ve given birth in the past 2 years how it went and I’m with you, it’s mostly horror stories, which doesn’t help my anxiety at all! lol I suppose that some were on the more positive side if they felt in control and decisively asked for what they wanted and went against doctor advice (which requires some nerves of steel), but by comparison, all my friends who had planned c-sections had nothing but positive stories. I’m personally not too bothered about the recovery time as my husband will be on paternal with me and we don’t have other kids or pets to look after. Also, my sister in law who gave birth naturally last year shared that with her tearing and cutting she healed slower than her NCT friend who went through a c-section, so she never got the short recovery time that she felt was promised, but maybe that’s an isolated case. It’s a tough choice to make and there’s no right or wrong ofc. It’s absolutely down to individual preferences, risk profile and how comfortable you are with uncertainty. Fun times! The important thing is that we’ll all have a beautiful baby at the end of all this.

The RSV vaccine would have probably done no harm, but it might have been less effective for the baby in those first few months when they are most at risk, which I think is the main point of it. Thank you for your message and totally understand, the sofa is so tempting! haha If it gives you a better idea, I never rush to start my workouts cause I love them or have so much energy lol but when I do the stretches, it does feel sooo good to stretch some underused muscles and by the end of it I'm happy I did it and feel less stiff. Most pregnancy workouts on youtube are soooo chill and slow anyway, it's easy to start.

ThePeachGoose · 04/09/2024 16:07

@HopefulllHolly that’s my worry too, that NHS is all about birthing options on the website, but no one will actually talk to you about any of those, they just keep postponing the conversation and push you towards natural birth with induction cause it’s easier and cheaper for them. But we’ll see how it goes for me.

Tbh the booking midwife said I’ll be offered the covid vaccine when it comes out, but a friend who’s at the same maternity as me but further along said that pregnant women weren’t included in the spring campaign and she had to get it done privately in the end, so I just decided to jump to it and do it on my own timeline, even if I’ll be offered later. I didn’t like the anxiety that came with having to work with people who tested positive for covid at the work event last month, so I just want it done now if I have to be around crowds again. The rest of the vaccines (flu, RSV, whooping cough) I’ll get on the NHS timeline, I’m not as bothered. And the Boots Covid vaccine is completely private, they don’t even log it in the NHS system (I have to get that sorted), so you can’t use the maternity prescription exemption for it.

Oh, please report back on those M&S maternity jeans, I’m very interested :) Also, adorable tootsies! 💕

Natty2 · 04/09/2024 21:29

@HopefulllHolly ah so pleased your little girl is doing well and congrats on reaching half way!!

@AnnieStar12 thank you! And sorry you had a scare yesterday. Glad all is ok and you had a lovely midwife! There's hope 😅

@ThePeachGoose good to hear you're getting on ok and that the nausea has settled. Hope you have a good yoga session tomorrow. I enjoyed my first Pilates class on Monday

@DippyDuck19 thank you! I'm sorry to hear you still had bleeding today but glad you can feel movement. Must be so reassuring.

I cant remember how many of you have anterior placentas? I'm joining the crew!

LouP87 · 05/09/2024 13:27

Catching up on all your messages - so lovely to see all the scan pics and babies doing so well!

@DippyDuck19 sorry you’ve had a scary time, hoping all has cleared up now and you’ve been getting some well deserved rest in the mean time?

Happily I’m still in Greece (Santorini now!) until Sunday - I look like Ross from Friends after his spray tan though - how do you tan your back?!

Loving the exercise motivation on here at the moment - my tummy has popped out a bit and I’m finding it quite a chore to get up off the floor or sun bed without being pulled up - definite sign of needing to stretch and limber up.

Regarding maternity leave - is anyone else planning on working right up to drop day? The maternity pay my company offers is statutory …absolutely rubbish, so I can’t afford to go any earlier than absolutely necessary, I’m also the breadwinner at home, so only plan on taking 6 months off, returning part time July - Sept, when baby will qualify for the 30 hours of child care etc.

lemonyfox · 05/09/2024 15:11

Second time mums. When did you feel movement? I'm 13 weeks exactly today and I'm sure I can feel rolling tumbling movements, but it seems so early!?

HopefulllHolly · 05/09/2024 19:05

@Natty2 I think the anterior crew are me, @DippyDuck19 and @LouP87 but there might be more! If it makes you feel better I had definite movement at 19 weeks and now it’s really strong. Today she’s been going crazy in there! Really regular movement and kicks, even felt one on the outside! I’ve had a migraine today so spent most of the day resting so maybe I’ve noticed it more because of that but it’s definitely stronger. So hopefully won’t be late for you - though the sonographer and registrar yesterday said they don’t really expect you to feel lots until 23-24 weeks with anterior. But so far in this group it’s been earlier!

OP posts:
DippyDuck19 · 05/09/2024 19:30

@LouP87 thanks. Bleeding has stopped today thankfully. Hopefully that's the last of it!

@Natty2 yes I have an anterior placenta too. Started feeling small vibrations around 17 weeks. Rolling/flutter movements from 19 weeks. Now at 21 weeks still mostly rolling movements with the occasional kick. Have felt once on the outside.

Baby boy is usually active between 5-7am but this morning he wasn't. So driving to work I had the radio on (singing along). S club 7 comes on and he came to life, just for the duration of that song. DP not impressed with his choice of music 🤣

I don’t think I’m feeling anything yet. I’ve felt these tiny feelings like being tickled inside since really early which I thought might be baby moving, but as it’s continued and hasn’t got any stronger I now doubt it’s the baby at all!
So I don’t actually think I’ve felt anything yet, and I’m 18 weeks :(

At my 16 week scan she said my placenta was at the front but will have to see what the 20 week scan shows as I think there’s quite a bit of growth between 16-20 so things can move around.

From what I remember in my last pregnancy I didn’t feel anything till like 24 weeks. I hope I don’t have to wait that long again!
