Continuation of previous thread for anyone with a BFP following IVF to support with anxieties and other worries that come along with pregnancy after infertility.

@HopefulllHolly @AnnieStar12 thanks. Appointment today went well. Was actually with another consultant who I have now been transferred to. This makes me happier immediately as I didn't like my last one! The new consultant is lovely and funnily enough is not concerned with my cysts at all during pregnancy so can proceed with my original plans of vaginal birth but he would like to have them removed afterwards. He will arrange for a scan 3 months after I give birth to see how big they are. He explained the smaller they are when they take them out the more of my ovary they can save. The old consultant didn't want to take them out unless they get big and then will lose both ovaries.

He's also arranged for me to have CBT to change my thought processes around the intrusive thoughts and did offer me some medication which I declined. Will see how the CBT goes first. I'm not actually feeling too bad this week. Have another appointment with him in 4 weeks time.

He's also extended my postnatal care with the community midwife from the usual 10 days to 28 days. To get me over the "baby blues" phase to monitor for postnatal depression. Which I feel happy about to have that prolonged support if I need it.

Also listened to baby heartbeat which was fine and he's still head down! Urine sample showed some protein so has been sent off. They're happy for me to wait for results as I have no symptoms of infection.

@AnnieStar12 think LouP87 is ahead of me by a few days in terms of due dates. But will possibly be one of the first 😬
