Also, totally mad and bonkers but I know a few people have used a fertility astrology app (myself included - though I lost the baby a few weeks ago) that has been weirdly accurate.

For the last two years it gave my husband and I zero fertile periods that crossed over, and then one popped up this summer and I got pregnant naturally for the first time in 5 years. Probably all coincidence, but if I do end up doing another IVF I will time it to this now - like an insane person 😂

Tried to add an image but looks like it didn't come up. It's called Fertilityastrology and was created by a quite famous astrologer called Nicola Smuts Allsop.

Do you got to keep paying that app every time you want to see your results? I've tried it and it gave me a few days but I never took note of them then when I went too look at them again it tried to charge me €10.99 again to view my results 😮‍💨

Oh no! Mine have just popped up and I purchased it a little under a year ago. I did email the support at firsts when I had no dates and they were good at replying (but that was 3 years ago!)

I did pay for the full video session in the end. Which was super in depth. I did it because I knew two people who had used Nicola and had success after multiple failures. I had an update call with her (free) in Sept, after I lost my miracle pregnancy, and have a bit of a plan for timing trying naturally and then possible IVF dates next year, so I will keep you posted! She also has an app that is like £12 called Fertility Astrology.

@Whatdidyoucallme thank you for sharing. How was PRP procedure? Did you get sedated and could you move and walk normally at that day? I heard is like egg collection and with egg collection I generally get in bed resting the full day.

I havnt been yet! But I will also be there next week for PRP and testing etc 🥰

I just had my first face to face appointment at Serum IVF (landed in Athens last night) with gorgeous Dr Makis. So far so good. I had my scan & bloods done at Serum before 11am and then a in-depth discussion with Dr Makis. Now it’s 12:43 I’ve already done my pre-hysteroscopy tests at the hospital (which is 15 minutes Uber away from Serum). Tomorrow morning I will come back to the hospital to do the Hysteroscopy. Around 11am tomorrow I’m asked to go back to Serum to discuss my treatment plans. I’m 40 years old and Dr Makis agreed that I don’t need PRP as they saw 13 follicles this morning and things seem ok so far. We discussed potentially doing fresh transfer as opposed to PGTa. My husband is arriving in Athens this afternoon and he will do semen analysis at Serum tomorrow morning. Tomorrow we need to pay c. 2800 euros for the pre-checks & Hysteroscopy etc. Feeling hopeful. Serum seems really professional and they explain things clearly which is something I never had experienced back in the UK. Here I don’t feel I am just a number in the production line. Fingers crossed 🤞

thought I would share my experience, I was in Athens in September to do my first IVF cycle. I did everything in one trip so I was there for quite some time but unfortunately my transfer failed which I’m very sad about but I have a call with the doctor to discuss my next steps as I have frozen embryos and keen to try for a frozen transfer
I loved the clinic and all the doctors and staff there, they were so lovely and kind

Hi! I had now my first experience with serum and Dr. Makis. Dr. Makis has recently graduated from Germany, and he is very caring and knowledgeable. The clinic has great infrastructures and it is new, which feels better than the ones in the UK. I just got a little bit disappointed as on the phone the owner of the clinic insisted that I should do PRP and everything was working towards that, has she was adamant that can improve quality. However, as soon as I arrived the narrative was completely different. The owner mentioned that we need to evaluate if PRP was needed and after they examine me, they realised that it was not required because I had 17 follicles (I am 41). Dr mentioned that there is no evidence that PRP can improve quality. I appreciate the transparency and that I didn't need to incur an extra cost and go to a further sedation, but I didn't particularly like how they changed the narrative before and after I landed, which doesn't seem great. On retrospective, I recall that during the initial call the owner was the one speaking the most, but she is not a consultant/ doctor.

I just thought I would give an update. I was meant to have my actual IVF last / this month. In September it got postponed as I somehow got shingles! But in October I never made it as actually fell pregnant naturally! It's still very early so not sure if it's a viable pregnancy yet but keeping my fingers crossed. I do however credit the treatment I had at serum specifically the hysteroscopy and implantation cuts as well as the PRP for getting me here. Keeping my fingers crossed for my scan in a week and sending luck to all of you xx

I believe is standard practice in Serum to have hysteroscopy. I underwent Hysteroscopy with serum. I have never had a failed IVF or miscarriage before attending serum.
Questionable if it makes a difference or not, but for sure makes no difference whenever the embryo is of poor quality.

To answer to your question: I am not working for Ark. I have never been with them. I just said that " i have never seen any negative reviews about them, either on google or any forum. That's all I have said, which is in accordance with what I have seen.

Instead, you are saying you had success with Serum. But few minutes ago you posted on this forum, on another thread(IVF clinics in Greece Athens ) that "I compare Serum with world class clinics i went like Alicante and Care". These were your exact words. If Serum offered you the gift of a child, how can you make such a comparison? With previous clinics you failed in. To me, something does not add up here.
