Hi looking for some advice.

I am 36. I have a 5 year old.

I have had 2 chemicals and 2 miscarriages at 8/9 weeks.

Went to Dr Shehata back in Nov. I had heard about him through a podcast. I have high tnf alpha, high ifn gamma. PCOS, 23% nk cells.

I have had the adilanamlub injections and had to have another 2. I am on hydroxychlorquine, metaformin, infa colic alpha.

My cycle vary from 28-40 day cycles. I started super ovulation in early March, went on day 13 and my only dominant follicle was already just over 24mm. Dr Edge thought it may be too big but tried it anyway. Tested till 10dpo, nothing, came off omprazole and predisolone and cyclogest. Tested 12dpo very faint line. Got a positive 13DPO on a first response. Went back on meds and predisolone, omprazole and cyclogest. Had intralipids. Very faint lines then 15dpo seemed to get stronger. I am now 18dpo and still showing 1-2 weeks on clear blue. Just got this odd feeling it’s not progressing.

anyone similar experience?

thankyou x

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages - I hope this one works out for you! From 15 - 18 dpo it looks like good development and then I’m not sure you can compare moving to a different test anyway

I’m in a similar position so not sure I can offer any decent advice but I tested positive at 10 dpo, took 2 more tests at 11 and 12 which didn’t really look like they developed much.

Went in for intralipids on 12 DPO and the nurses advised not to test again unless spotting / bleeding happens as its very bad for the old mental health and throw everything at it in the meantime.

Currently, 23 DPO (4w6 as have short cycles) and resisting the urge to test but not feeling at all hopeful as have zero symptoms. I do think the advice of stop testing is good as it means I just have to power on with the meds until a miscarriage actually happens.

keep me updated on how it goes, keeping fingers crossed for you

Hello, I hope you are ok @Fran2411
I am in a similar position as I've had TH1:TH2 ratio come back high too, as well as NK cells. II've had 4 of those injections now as the first 2 didn't work. If anything, my levels were higher. I also have 26% NK cells.

How high were your TH1:TH2 levels if you don't mind me asking?

I'm so worried this treatment isn't going to work.

X

Sarah681526 · 31/05/2024 21:21

Hi @Hhdxx we are on the same boat! My NK cell 50:1 came back 27%. TH1:TH2 is also high, with TNF 34.7 and IFN 18. I took 2 adalimumab injections, TNF came down to 31 but IFN increased!! So I’m gonna take 2 more of those still.. then will start 20mg prednisolone and intralipids.. such a complicated journey isn’t it! But we’ll get there.. 🤞

Hhdxx · 03/06/2024 22:54

@Sarah681526 heya! I went for my second intralipid today. My arm hurts so much during it and got about 30 minutes afterwards, not sure if this is normal.

It is such a tough journey. I really hope it stops me having my losses.

How are you doing with it? X

Sarah681526 · 23/09/2024 23:05

@Hhdxx oh I’m so sorry for the late reply.. I’ve done one more round of adalimumab injections and hopefully my TNF and INF are lowered by now… tried 3 cycles of prednisolone/intralipid et al. (phase 2) but no luck yet.. how about you? x

Hhdxx · 24/09/2024 19:14

@Sarah681526 I'm sorry if this is hard to hear but I'm currently 17 and a half weeks pregnant. The is the furthest I have got since I lost my daughter at 29 weeks so the treatment has worked for me (hopefully). I was lucky that I got pregnant on the second month of trying. I hope this gives you hope that your treatment will work.
Are you taking progesterone too?
Xx

Sarah681526 · 30/09/2024 11:15

@Hhdxx Oh my god, congratulations this is such great news! It absolutely gives me hope that the treatment plan will eventually work! 🙏🏻 Yes I am taking progesterone too.. i will see him for a medication review next week - let’s see!

Sarah681526 · 09/10/2024 15:57

@Hhdxx I’m now in 10 day wait and fingers are crossed!! I have no symptoms though.. in my previous miscarriages I felt sore boobs and bloating early on.. did you get a lot of symptoms until your bfp? I know Prof S said prednisone can mask nausea but I dont know about the other symptoms.. also getting brownish discharge (sorry!) maybe because of cyclogest..

Hhdxx · 09/10/2024 16:22

@Sarah681526 hey! Wishing you lots of luck this month. No, I didn't get any symptoms however, all the times I've been pregnant (11 times) I've had different symptoms so try not to look into it too much. I did get sickness with this pregnancy but not until I was 6 weeks. Xx

Sarah681526 · 09/10/2024 19:46

@Hhdxx thank you so much! 🙏 I’m so sorry for your losses before this one but soooo happy that Dr Shehata’s treatment worked 🙏 relieved to hear no symptoms.. I’m just concerned about the brown spotting but hey I guess we’ll just have to wait and see

Hhdxx · 09/10/2024 19:52

@Sarah681526 I did have spotting from ovulation when I was pregnant with my daughter right up until about 5 weeks of pregnancy. Let me know how you get on xxx

Hi @Fran2411 how did this pregnancy progress for you, if you don’t mind answering! 🙏

Hhdxx · 11/10/2024 20:15

@Sarah681526 heya. Just wanted to let you know that my 20 weeks scan went well today. Sending you lots of hope xxx

Fran2411 · 12/10/2024 07:47

Hey all, sorry for the radio silence. Had a real rollercoaster. It ended up being a eptopic. I lost my tube.

That being said I did do a transfer with a euploid embryo and I’m 9 weeks today. I’ve got another scan on Tuesday. I’ve had some complications. I’ve had a synchronic hematoma which has caused some bleeding so feeling a bit nervous.

sorry I went so quiet after the post.

x

Hey how did everything go? Really hope it went ok. I’m considering Dr Shehata myself.

Fran2411 · 25/05/2025 20:29

Hi, currently sat here with my snoozing baby boy who is 15 days old. After everything I have been through, I do think dr shehata was the right way forward for us

Awh my goodness I am so happy for you. ❤️ did you find Dr Shetata focused on things outside of killer cells?

Fran2411 · 26/05/2025 09:27

He put me on a protocol. Suppressed my immune with adinamalub injections. Had to have 2. Aspirin, vitamin d, infacolic alpha, prenatal dha and prenatal vitamin. I also did a tested embryo transfer. The game changer I think for me was going on a gluten free diet. I really found my gut health improved. I also took synprove daily. Outside of dr shehata I went to see a nutritionist who said the gut is linked to fertility

mrsfitzyj · 26/05/2025 22:16

Thank you that’s so helpful. Would you be able to recommend the nutritionist?

Hhdxx · 05/06/2025 23:45

I currently have a 4 month old health boy. Without crp clinic, I wouldn't have had him. He was my 11th pregnancy x

Sarah681526 · 20/07/2025 07:45

Hi!! Dr Shehata’s protocol also worked for me and happy to say I have a month old baby girl now! My NK cells amount & activation were high so he put me on the protocol for that! Wishing you all the success and I really do believe you are gonna be in the right hands with them! Xx
