Hello, wondering if anyone is preparing for an FET in April?

This will be my 3rd transfer. 1st one implanted but early loss, second (euploid) and third (untested) did not implant. I'm waiting to do a hysteroscopy next week + an ERA following week prior to transfer in April.

We decided against testing this time, and are wondering whether or not to do a double transfer. Our embryos are AA/ABs so want to feel hopeful but fully aware of the possible failure(s) ahead of us..

@Sunflower360 Good to know! Do you make your own? I googled it after you said it but have no idea what to do🤣 what bones to buy etc.!

I have been making Mediterranean style inspired soups. That’s meant to be very nutritious too.

@blahblahetc No, my OH makes it 😂 Thankfully he enjoys cooking. But basically you roast a couple of chickens and chicken wings, use the bones from them, onions, carrots, celery and other herbs (not sure which unfortunately) and let it simmer for 24 hours. Has great health benefits and meant to be good for fertility...my thoughts were to try and counteract immune responses hence drinking it this cycle, may as well try it I got nothing to lose in doing so.

Alternatively you can go for this quick option and rated brand...not tried it but I think they were had it on This Morning a few weeks ago 😂

I asked my husband to make lunch on Friday because I had one too many meetings, and he made us both an omelette... sounds fair except I only found out halfway through lunch he used 5 eggs each! My friend was going on about ox tail broth or beef broth.. I wouldnt know what to buy or how to prepare it, so chicken bones sounds easy enough!

Good morning, it’s the day we have been asked by clinic to test and I have a feint second line. Is this a good sign. So worried it’s too good to be true as it’s so feint. 12 days since embryo transfer. The top two were photographed 3 minutes after testing and the third one developed into a second feint line two minutes after.

@Southlondoner88 that looks great! Mine looked similar on official test day. Congrats! If you are still worried, maybe a digital that says PREGNANT will make you feel assured but this is a positive test!!!!!😍

@Southlondoner88 i saw your question a few pages back on due date and I think your due date sounds correct! I’m 5+1 and mine is around the 28/12. How are you getting on?

Thanks so much to you and @AnxiousAndHopeful for the links to the due date calculators... I was actually confused about how far along am I, not so much the due date, but those calculators give the weeks and days too, so all sorted 😊
So far so good... I got 3+ on the digital test yd morning (18dp5dt, 2 days earlier than I had with my son) so that gave some reassurance and just counting down to the viability scan now!

@Sunflower360 that's great that your OH makes the bone broth. I've always bought it (although I hate it really) but I've felt quite silly doing so as I know it's not too complicated. Hope all goes well with your scans this week!

@beachbum85 congrats! You must be about 5.5-6 weeks now? How are you feeling? I’ve had some mild food aversions start, but in a way, it’s oddly reassuring! When is your scan? My first NHS scan is tomorrow, absolutely terrified. I’ll only be 5+3, so think they want to check it’s in the right place before the HB scan next week. I’ve also stopped testing so I don’t drive myself crazy! I can’t seem to be moderate with it 😅

Thanks @beachbum85 Im now waiting eagerly for my first beta result. Although the nurse said just now the doctor will want a test on Wednesday to confirm it’s not a chemical.. @localbunny I assume you are doing the same?

@beachbum85 When is your viability test? Is that normally week 6? I hope I make it there this time!

I also still have absolutely no symptoms.. keep worrying I’m going to start bleeding as the last failed ones I started spotting/bleeding on day 12.. Im 10dpt today.

@beachbum85 that's great you got a 3+! Very exciting. I actually started having progesterone related side effects almost immediately after starting the additional progesterone! Mainly feeling very tired.

@blahblahetc yes I am 4dp5dt 😱😱 no side effects here other than the ones I've been getting on the progesterone. I still haven't decided on my testing strategy and whether to test early or wait!! Good luck for the beta.

@blahblahetc My viability scan is 9 May and I'll be exactly 7w. Last time it was around 8w - the clinic was a lot busier just after COVID.
@AnxiousAndHopeful your scan is so early! That's great that you'll have some reassurance (apart from the food aversions) before the HB scan which can be quite intense... Best of luck for tomorrow! I must say I find testing super stressful so I was really glad to get that 3+ and call it a day.
I'm glad you're well ☺️ I'm still feel mostly normal, just starving when I wouldn't normally be, and very easily bloated, and a bit more tired 🤷🏻‍♀️ last time I started feeling really sick at what would be the equivalent of next Sat, so I'm a bit worried as I was sick literally every day for a couple of months and it was tough...

@beachbum85 good to hear your HCG is increasing @blahblahetc how is yours looking? Will your scan be abroad?

Thanks, I had my scan last week and LH surged and triggered on CD 10 so ovulation was CD 11, lining was 8mm which is the best its been so I'm happy with that. Transfer is 2nd May...I am steaming through the transfers but will have a break of 1 month and do an EC in July if this one does not work either

I haven't got my result yet, she said 1pm today.. so hanging in there. I stupidly did not use a FRER this morning thinking I'm going for a blood test anyway. I used a cheapie so now cannot tell if there's progression.. I think everything will be done in the UK going forward if things go well. I will be getting in touch with the Tommy clinic too as they said last time they will be able to offer support for early scans/blood works etc.

That said, my Prague clinic wants a blood confirmation on Friday, I don't actually know what happens from there..

@localbunny I'm with the NHS but privately so they only see patients 7am for bloods (before the NHS patients). She was quadruple booked too!

@blahblahetc I'm hoping to transfer 2 but they want to see the day 3 does. It may not do anything, in which case it'll be a double transfer of the other frozen ones.

I've actually had some spotting this morning... I am absolutely terrified. Has anyone else had some very very light colour when wiping? I have been taking the pessaries in the back way as I know it can cause cervical irritation, so wanted to avoid that.

@beachbum85 we had 6 fertilise overnight on Friday. Transfer scheduled for tomorrow - unfortunately we don’t get another update until tomorrow morning. So fingers crossed all is going well in the lab!

@blahblahetc tomorrow is day 5! Wish we’d get an update before then, but I suppose no news is good news.
