Day 6 embryos - when to transfer and any success rates?

Our last and final round of IVF produced three, day 6 embryos:

5BC
4BC
5CC

I know the grading isn’t great (and there have been some success stories on here), but for this thread I’m interested in experiences of transferring day 6 embryos. Do you transfer on day 6 or day 5? Are they less likely to be successful than day 5 ones?

@MarmaladeMaggie I've just had a day 5 4bc transferred that turned into a 4bb on defrost. From the excessive googling I've done and studies I've read, the chances of a day 6 Vs 5 Embryos are a little lower, but still worthwhile! I think transfer is usually on day 5 regardless, but it might depend on your clinic. Also, you have three embryos so better odds. It only takes one. There's a thread about about 4bc success stories and there's now several pregnant people on there!
