Can you get ohss with smaller number of eggs

I had 12 follicles growing but by time of my second can I only had 7 follicles. Had my retrieval and collected 7 eggs.
I'm just wondering can you get ohhs with only 7 eggs?
I spent the evening vomiting quite a bit and was very sore and tender but now my stomach is feeling a bit tight.
They thought I would over respond pcos but now they aren't concerned bout ohss. Just wondering if it's still possible or if these are normal symptoms to experience after retrieval

I dont know what the normal symptoms are but My partner retrieved 14 eggs and is suffering with OHSS.

It's more so the bloating in her case. She looks 4 months pregnant. She was experiencing really bad stomach pains though. Not vomiting or problems breathing.

It's been 2 weeks now since embryo transfer and she's starting to feel better. Serious symptoms started 10 days after transfer.

If they have scanned your ovaries and they aren't over stimulating then you should be OK.

We are now everyday weighing and measure her stomach. If you do that and notice the bloat getting bigger then let the clinic know.

Just thought this information might help. We've been told we were really unlucky to get OHSS
