2WW 5DP5DT Minimal Symptoms 😢

warning…long post alert

so I had a grade A expanding embryo transferred last Wednesday so today I am 5DP5DT. since transfer I have had shooting type twinges on D1 and D2 and since D3 I have had AF type cramps, lower back ache. These pains seem to linger around longer. Yesterday I also had hip pain, groin pain and some twinges near right ovary (minimal discomfort, pains came and went within minutes). AF type cramps appear worse at night and have woken me each night at 3am 😢 have no sore boobs at all. Have felt a little tired but assumed it’s due to the late night wake up calls. More weeing but I am drinking a lot more water due to reducing caffeine. I am taking progesterone but had no symptoms from that prior to transfer day. This is my 3rd attempt this time using donor egg. 1st attempt was fresh transfer with own egg, D5 transfer grade A. Had a positive test but MC at 5 weeks, had sore boobs but had those since I started the progesterone. 2nd attempt was frozen transfer grade C D6 blast. Negative test no symptoms at all.
I’m so confused and worried with what my current symptoms are telling me 😢

just seen your post, I’m wondering what your outcome was? This is my first IvF transfer. We transferred a Day 5 embryo a week ago so I’m currently 7 days past 5 day transfer. I also have had hardly any symptoms, pretty much the same as you. My boobs aren’t sore at all and not much cervical mucus. I’m trying to say positive but feel like it’s not happened for me with no symptoms 😢

Hi @Laurenm1990 I had symptoms of cramps bloating and sense of smell changes. I never got nausea or sore boobs, which I did get the first time round in my 2ww. I did get my bfp on this cycle and nausea & sore boobs kicked in after that! The 2ww is such a hard time and absolutely plays with your mind, for me it sent me into a bit of negative spiral, anything I felt or didn’t feel I put down to either negative result or the medication. I am 10 weeks now and we saw a HB at 8 weeks ☺️ I have a scan tomorrow and already preparing myself for something bad to happen. I won’t be confident in the fact I’m pregnant until I get to 12 weeks 🥲 ivf is such a long hard journey, it plays with your head absolutely. I would say in the 2ww the lack of symptoms doesn’t mean something is wrong or not happening. Your embryo is snuggling in and getting comfy…your symptoms will come lovely 🥰 good luck with your journey

i hope you are doing okay, the TWW is so hard! Unfortunately it wasn’t a positive outcome for me, I started my period 9 days after a 5 day transfer! I know people that don’t have symptoms though and have had a BFP!! Sorry I don’t have good news xxx

Sorry to hear. I hope your next try, if you are going for another round, will be a successful one.
It is probably bad news for me as well as I started spotting abnormally more than what is considered normal spotting from 5dpt5dt on off for 2 days or so. Currently 8dpt and BFN so I dont have high hopes!
