AMH 0.1, FSH 35 - is there still a chance?

Hey there,

After multiple failed IVF cycles (including failed transfers of PGT-A tested day 5 embryos) I did a blood test during my last cycle (day 3) and received some pretty harsh results, my AMH is 0.1 and FSH is 35 (im 41 years old).

We are considering whether it make sense doing more IVF rounds and whether there is even a chance of them to result in a healthy baby? It would be great to hear your thoughts and especially hear some success stories of women who where in a similar position, im quite devastated as we are not willing to consider egg donation and this is our only hope.

Thanks!

I'm sorry for your failed cycles ❤️ we've had a long, complicated fertility journey. My circumstances are different to yours but I wanted to suggest seeing Create as they specialise in diminished ovarian reserve and low amh. So they use milder stimulation drugs. I'm with them and find them honest and compassionate. We've also ruled out egg donor and are on our last chance.

Best wishes x

Although it must have been hard to hear those numbers, AMH & FSH can both be changed and are not set in stone. Think of it like a snapshot in time. I'm not sure how much you've looked into alternative medicine but homeopathy and acupuncture can definitely help if you're interested/it's financially viable for you. The fertility homeopath on YouTube has videos on this topic if you're interested. There's also a lady on Instagram called Heidi Brockmyre who you should check out, she has YouTube videos too. Last one is Rosanne Austin on Instagram who talks so much about how important mindset is on this journey. Listening to her podcasts is very inspiring as she speaks with women who have various fertility issues that manage to have successful pregnancies, many of them with low AMH and high FSH. Good luck and stay strong 💖

@VenusStarr Many thanks for your kind words, I have contacted the clinic to learn more about their services.

@Creatingspace Much appreciated, we´ve been doing Acupuncture for 12 months now and will start with a homeopathic treatment very soon. I will make sure to check those social media ladies you have mentioned, thanks :)
