Just wanted to share our success story in case it gives hope to anyone going through something similar.

We tried to conceive our second child for four years. We had unexplained secondary infertility. In our first round of IVF we got a top grade blastocyst from 14 eggs but I miscarried at 8 weeks. Having no embryos left we had another round of IVF and got 15 eggs this time, so similar situation, again 1 blastocyst but this time a lower grade and no other embryos. I was certain the result would be the same as last time but I’m currently holding my baby in my arms whilst she sleeps.

One embryo pulled through out of 29 eggs. Our little miracle. IVF is all consuming. Even before getting to IVF, infertility is soul destroying…we thought we would never get there, but that saying ‘it only takes one’ is so true. Wishing everyone on this board success and I hope my story offers some hope to those in similar situations 🎈
