Fresh transfer cancelled because of submucosal fibroid

Hello.
I had my second scan today (currently on stims for ICSI) and my fresh transfer has been cancelled and changed to a freeze all because of a submuscosal fibroid growing literally in the centre of my uterus . Absolutely gutted.
They saw it at the first scan but said it could he a collection of menstrual fluid , so I was holding onto that hope.
The consultant is referring me for a hysteroscopy . No idea on the wait list for that.
Anyone had fibroid removed with hysteroscopy ?
I feel so rubbish :(

I'm 36tryc 3 years. MFI and now this fibroid.

Hi, sorry to hear of the news.
I had polyps removed via hysteroscopy just over a year ago, was a little painful but recovery in a day or 2. Actually back on the waiting list now as a mark came up on my fresh cycle so straight away got a referral in place. My initial consult to discuss the procedure was 2 months after my phonecall.

I unfortunately cancelled it as my clinic thought it was a fold when they did a saline scan but on my FET this month there looks a slightly growth.

Called NHS to grovel and get out back on the list incase the FET didn't work and it's added an extra 6 weeks for that initial appointment.

You can pay privately, it's around £2200-3000 depending where you are

Hi, I’ve got a submusocal fibroid and intramural fibroids and am having a myomectomy and hysteroscopy in November (fingers crossed!). Been waiting since January to have them removed. The consultant says it’s the fibroids causing my infertility

Hello.
Thank you for your replies. Goodluck with your procedures. I really hope I don't have to wait too long as NHS onky freeze my embryos for a year.

Xx
