Fresh IVF cycle Negative test at 6dp5dt

Hi everyone,
This is my second IVF attempt, the first one was last year and it was so emotionally draining, I couldn't get myself to try again until this month. I am now 6 days post blastocyst transfer and I took a pregnancy test which came back negative. I know it's still early but I see so many testing positive from 5 days post transfer so I feel really deflated today. Did anyone test positive later on?

That's a great level @Miarez have you got a scan booked in?

@Gardenlady543 not yet, I officially tell my clinic tomorrow my test is positive, even though in the background I have even checked hcg levels 😂 is it usually at 6-7 weeks?

@Miarez so best time is 6.5 weeks, my clinic made me wait until 8 weeks, so I arranged a 6.5 week scan with ultrasound direct.

@Miarez good to hear from you!!! Since last time we spoke I did have another FET which ended up in chemical. Had my consultation since and will do immune cell bloods and also try natural FET hopefully in Feb. Otherwise will do another egg collection and doctor advises to get them tested. And I assume more tests regarding issues with implantation too .

I remember you got your BFP 3rd time round, didn't you??? Maybe this is what will happen to me as well. But at least was able to enjoy few drinks over Christmas. Had my cry and few down days but very busy at work and feel bit more positive again so all good

How are you getting on? Hope the pregnancy is going well. You might have had your 12 w scan by now!

@CoCoaButter85 so nice to hear from you!! Ugh, I'm so sorry you went through this :( I think it helps that you have a plan of action in place! Pre my third transfer I was already calculating when I'll do my next one and what to do if that one fails. I accepted that it will take few tries and yes, it was third time lucky indeed!! I really hope it happens for you next time. I know how disheartening it can be. Ivf is such a rollercoster of emotions.
Everything is going well on my side so far, I did have my 12 week scan a week ago! I still pinch myself and it took a couple of scans for me to actually believe I am pregnant. I think this is what infertility does, that worry never goes away, but I am very grateful.
I am keeping fingers crossed for you, that your lucky number is 3!!
