Hi ladies! 👋
Just as the post says... cycle day 1 of my first IVF round, 20 days until I start Norethisterone then Menopur & Fyremadel.
Looking for others starting cycle or in the cycle for some company.
Sending lots of luck to you all! ❤️

@Tinkerbell098 when does your treatment start?

Tinkerbell098 · 03/09/2022 07:43

@seekingbabyk they won’t confirm. I basically have to ring up on day 1 and for them to tell me if they can or can’t fit me in. It’s really crap. Last month they said no so not sure what they’ll say this month. Their process is very stressful even before starting treatment.

Imisscoffee2021 · 03/09/2022 09:04

Well, had the transfer! Feels like we waited so long for it and it was over and done in 5 mins! My clinic doesn't ultrasound you as they do it so didn't see it go in but got a picture of the blastocyst up on the screen when it was in the petri-dish! The clinic grades 1-10, 10 being best and we had a hatching blastocyst rated 10!

Also and couldn't quite believe it, but 5 of our others made it to blast too and our going to be frozen, and the last one is at early blastocyst so they're giving it another day and may freeze too! Unreal, can't believe our luck so far, hope it lasts!

seekingbabyk · 03/09/2022 09:08

@Tinkerbell098 oh I'm so sorry that's really awful- is this nhs? Fingers crossed this month will be a yes and you can get started!

@Imisscoffee2021 that's amazing news congratulations on currently being pregnant! Keeping everything crossed for you that it sticks! And that's amazing news on your other embryos too 😁

Imisscoffee2021 · 03/09/2022 15:27

@seekingbabyk thank you! Hope it's a sticky one! Feels wierd to be here and never been anywhere close in 16 months TTC, kind of emotionally exhausted after this fraught week waiting for calls! Hope your three little ones are doing well too, are you leaning towards a fresh transfer or freeze all?

seekingbabyk · 03/09/2022 15:30

@Imisscoffee2021 we are going to do a fresh transfer on Monday fingers crossed one makes it. We don't get a day 3 phone call so won't know until Monday morning unfortunately!

It's so strange that when we first started considering ivf it seemed like such a long process but actually it's gone so quickly now we are here!

When is your next update @acaciabluebell

Imisscoffee2021 · 03/09/2022 15:55

@seekingbabyk Eek Monday! How exciting, and I'm sure they're still going or they'd have called you, you've got through the 3 day mark so got fingers and toes crossed!

seekingbabyk · 03/09/2022 15:56

@Imisscoffee2021 yes it is exciting and nerve wracking too! Yes I hope that's the case but just trusting the universe and if it's meant to be it'll be x

Tinkerbell098 · 03/09/2022 17:01

@Imisscoffee2021 amazing! Well done you! So great you’ve got so many to freeze too. Hope you get some rest over the weekend. Are you back at work on Monday or taking some time off? Congrats on being PUPO! When is test day?

@seekingbabyk yes it’s nhs. Our only funded round. Exciting for Monday. I’m sure they’re still in the running or they’d have told you. All the best X

Imisscoffee2021 · 03/09/2022 17:13

@Tinkerbell098 Thank you! I actually have the week off anyway before I knew transfer would be today, I have some commissions to do so needed a break from my full time job 😅 it's good timing though as I have a physical job so a week drawing at a desk will be perfect, just need to remember to take some gentle walks to keep the blood flowing!

Hopefully not long til your turn! No more bank holidays to mess things up in September :)

seekingbabyk · 03/09/2022 17:54

@Tinkerbell098 hopefully you'll be starting soon too - surely they can't put you off for a second month!

@Imisscoffee2021 glad you have some rest time now - do you think you'll test early?

Imisscoffee2021 · 03/09/2022 18:17

@seekingbabyk I'm a terrible tester so yeah I will, I've been tested daily since trigger so I can make sure it's out of my system and I'll just keep doing that with internet cheapies and then maybe a frer at the end of the week. I'd rather know than spend 11 days wondering! Especially as it was a hatching blastocyst so should implant if it's going to in next few days.

seekingbabyk · 03/09/2022 18:20

@Imisscoffee2021 yes I completely understand and also if it's a chemical it's nice to know that too. Fingers crossed it's not though and it sticks. I was reading about due dates yesterday too and how it works with ivf - I.e. when they take your week one from but it's calculated on transfer day rather than cycle one day x

acaciabluebell · 04/09/2022 13:11

Hey ladies! Hope you are both doing well and I wish you all the best with your transfers. I've not been on here much recently as I have not much happening anymore in terms of IVF stuff, just lots of waiting. But the good news is we have a top quality day 5 blastocyst frozen today. Two more will be checked on tomorrow to see if they can be frozen too. My FET will probably be around November time I think. Seems like ages away but hopefully the time will go fast.

seekingbabyk · 04/09/2022 14:55

@acaciabluebell that's amazing news! I'm really happy for you! One is all it needs so fingers crossed that's your lucky one and the others catch up too x

Imisscoffee2021 · 04/09/2022 16:02

That's fantastic news @acaciabluebell !! and hopefully your other two follow tomorrow! The time fly, are you having a medicated frozen cycle or natural?

seekingbabyk · 05/09/2022 11:16

@Imisscoffee2021 @acaciabluebell good morning ladies. Transfer done. Out of 3 we had one good blast which we got a lovely photo of graded 3BB - they seemed happy with that. One definitely out of the race and the last one they are leaving until tomorrow as it's a day behind so fingers crossed for that one!

Procedure went fine but a bit uncomfortable- was so nice having hubby there too for this one holding my hand. Just have to keep everything crossed now. OTD will be 17th x

Imisscoffee2021 · 05/09/2022 11:34

@seekingbabyk congratulations on being pregnant until proven otherwise! Really encouraging that the embryologist are confident in your embaby on board too! It's is unreal seeing a picture of it? We just got the time-lapse video through today, so fascinating :)

Are you planning to test out your trigger or are you just going to hold off til OTD? I've tested daily til now and it's almost faded but I'm going to stop as it obsessed me a bit, going to try and hold out now till OTD on 14th.

X

seekingbabyk · 05/09/2022 11:40

@Imisscoffee2021 I know I said to hubby that could be the first photo of our baby! Not sure yet. My cycle is fairly short at 25 days so actually day 1 should be 11th which is way before test date but I'd imagine that's all messed up too. I don't even have tests indoors so would have to order, etc to do one.

I think I want to give myself this week just to chill out and think about other things like finding a new house and packing up the old house and then reassess on Monday.

The progesterone is absolutely wiping me out at the moment though I feel like I'm the afternoons I could just nap anywhere!

Imisscoffee2021 · 05/09/2022 12:09

@seekingbabyk I'm so glad you said that about progesterone! I'm the exact same but not everyone gets the fatigue, I'm exhausted from about 10am yo late afternoon and perk up a few hours in the evening, really counter productive when there's lots of work to do!

I had a longish walk yesterday to try snd wake myself up, then regretted it wondering if I'd messed up implantation but it was a slow wall and nowhere near my usual daily steps so hoping it'll be fine, I said I'd not obsess over activity but really wanted to kick myself yesterday. Also said I wouldn't Google synypoms as it'll be the progesterone but I've been doing that too!

Decaffe · 05/09/2022 12:12

Lots and lots of positive thoughts going out to you all, I’ve just been catching up on the thread.

I have my nurse’s consultation tomorrow during which I think she will talk me through the medication regime, and then I presume I have to go and pick up the meds before my period starts?

I am currently 2DPO with CD1 due to be two weeks today. Can’t believe it’s got to this point really but it’s so nice reading your posts from this month.

Imisscoffee2021 · 05/09/2022 12:14

Hi @Decaffe :) I had meds posted but if its an NHS cycle I think you pick them up yeah, are you long or short protocol? X

seekingbabyk · 05/09/2022 12:15

@Imisscoffee2021 I think it's hard not to but since starting stims I have been feeling bloating, cramping, a little nauseous sometimes etc anyway so just ignoring it all now.

Yesterday was a nightmare with the fatigue but I did first one at 9am then we were going out so I thought do second before going which was at about midday so by 3 I was really struggling. I think if I space them evenly I'll be ok but the two close together like that really hit me!

A walk will be fine especially if you're usually active. Apparently it's good to get your blood pumping too. I'm so relieved all of the appointments etc are out of the way especially as the travelling to them is quite a mission in itself!

Imisscoffee2021 · 05/09/2022 12:16

@seekingbabyk my last message is barely legible, apologies my autocorrect is so rubbish and I type too fast on my phone😅

Imisscoffee2021 · 05/09/2022 12:17

@seekingbabyk I'm taking two 200mcg morning and 2 in evening, seems alot but I have a tad low progesterone so everything helps. Nurse also said all those follicles are now corpus luteums emitting progesterone so no wonder we're feeling the effects! Are you back at work or taking some time off?
