@VenusStarr have you ever looked into visualisation? I personally believe it has made a difference and there are lot of studies that is has. It might help you keep calm as well xx

@Babydustt12 yes, the buzzy machine as I think of it. I only managed to get an appt as she had a cancellation. This might be the only appt she can do for me before transfer.

I don't have a subscription (he does) so I don't know if the share token carries over. It's nice to read it from the perspective of someone in the midst of failures, instead of just a happy ending one (although it's secondary infertility)

Hi everyone! Am back from holiday - we had some nice times but also loads of illnesses so it was a bit stressy.

@VenusStarr sorry you're feeling anxious. It is so hard putting yourself out there again.

It suddenly hit me yesterday that this transfer is our absolute last shot and how I will feel looking at a negative pregnancy test. I just don't want to go through it again and I'm terrified of facing that final moment. I honestly don't know how I'm going to cope with the 2 week wait. I've held so much together during this horrible journey - I'm just not sure I can do it any more.

Btw I do the same with pregnancies. I try to just be pleased to be pregnant and to be Mum to the bean for however long it needs me. However hard it is when it ends, I like being pregnant and try not to wish it away.

@seven201 do you mean not take them together at all or just at different times? Mr S told me to take both but didn't specify times I don't think!

@Janefx40 welcome back from hols. Sorry it wasn't all fun. You mean the vit E and aspirin? That's good to hear Mr S says you can have both. I don't remember the details as it was a long time ago I read about it. As I said though, I definitely could be very wrong!

Thank you @Babydustt12 I did do some visualisation in my last pregnancy when I had acupuncture. I also uses affirmations last time.

Dr S clinic just called, am all clear for chronic endometrisis! Feeling a bit rough, low level headache and I think it's estrogen.

Found it. Just says "the CCRM also warns that vit E should not be used by people who are taking aspirin, because it adds to the anti clotting effects of aspirin". It doesn't sound like a big issue.

@VenusStarr I am so happy to hear about your test results! Such a relief! I think it is the estrogen that's giving you headaches. I had them the first days. I've just finished the ultrasound. It was around 8mm. I am booked for transfer on Saturday and some bloods in the coming days. I will have a last ultrasound around Thursday because I am panicking about the lining. I also hope hormone levels will be good. I am beginning to feel very stressed.

@Janefx40 I am sorry you feel so overwhelmed. It is such a tough journey! I hope in the end everything will work out! 🙏

@seven201 interesting point of view and comparrison. IVF feels indeed as addictive as gambling. I kind of felt lost the months I didn't do anything related to ivf/infertility. How are you feeling?

@Yuliaaa 8mm 👏🏻. Excellent! No harm in an extra scan if it gives peace of mind.

I'm still struggling from headaches and a nausea but my eyeballs hurt less today. Have spent most of my day off on the sofa. Think it's the viagra and estrogen. Got work tomorrow though.

Got to go as off to acupuncture.

@VenusStarr great news about the endo!! Sorry about the headaches tho. Hopefully just temporary while your body gets used to it.

@Yuliaaa great lining! 8mm sounds great. Good idea to have an extra scan tho.

Hi @VenusStarr I was thinking about you all just now. I have just come back from the scan, lining is at 7.1 now. She explained that it shrinks a bit after progesterone is introduced. I am still in for transfer on Saturday. I am feeling a bit numb at the moment, can't really process anything. Perhaps it's because I suffered the previous failed transfers so I am just trying to protect myself. When is you scan? I hope your follicles have grown nicely! 💗

@Violette22 are ok

@seven201 are the estrogen symptoms any better?

@Yuliaaa so exciting that you will have the transfer on Saturday. It is normal to feel like you do, I wish you a lot of strength for the upcoming days, lets hope this will be your time 💜

@VenusStarr great news with the chronic endometritis 👍👍 what are your next steps now? Sorry if you mentioned this already.

@Janefx40 I can understand how stressfull the situation can be, I really hope your transfer will be succesfull.

I havent had any more bleeds this week. We had another scan yesterday and the baby had a strong heartbeat. Doctor said that everything looks really promising but I have created another worry for myself. On Saturday I was measuring around 5+6 (even 6+1 in one photo) and now yesterday just 6+1/6+2. I got really worried that the embryo hasnt grown enough. I asked this from doc maybe 10 times and he said repeatedly that it is totally normal since the measurements are so hard this early on. I still cant help not worrying that things arent developing at a normal phase 😕Im sorry, I know I should be more positive but this is so hard metalli after 6 losses.

I do understand you worries and I hope that everything will be alright! I believe that people like us won't feel safe until they hold their babies in their arms, which it's understandable due to the amount of grief we experience.

@VenusStarr when is your scan?

@Yuliaaa I've heard it shrinks a bit too, so don't worry about that. Not long until Saturday!

@Janefx40 how are you doing? Are you set on this being your last go? That must feel huge, no wonder you're feeling it.

@Violette22 that's great news. Definitely don't worry about measurements so early on.

I'm finally just getting headaches from the estrogen and viagra. That I can cope with. The rest just made me feel horrendous, especially the swollen eyes.

Good news that you've had no more bleeding @Violette22 they are so tiny at this stage, but things are going in the right direction 🙏 you can't switch your brain off sadly but you've got a good doctor supporting you. When's your next scan?

Just to echo others @Yuliaaa I'm sure once you start progesterone, your lining starts preparing for implantation, so can change. All is sounding good, got everything crossed for you. Not long till you're pupo 🥰

@seven201 follicle scan is on Monday 🤞I've had low level headaches but a lot of nausea this time. My appetite is shot and to just want to sleep.
When are you having another scan?

@VenusStarr my scan is on Monday too! It's crap we have to put up with how shit the drugs make us feel, yet have to carry on with normal life.

@Violette22 so pleased that you've not had more bleeding and have a strong heartbeat. Totally get the concern about size. I would (and have) felt the same. I remember in my successful pregnancy being totally freaked because the bean didn't grow as much as expected per day but it was totally fine. At these dates they are so small that it is hard to be specific. I know it won't reassure you because nothing would reassure me either but I have everything crossed for you. Do you have another scan booked?

@seven201 sorry you feel crap! What does the follicle scan look for? When might you have your transfer?

@VenusStarr same to you. Sorry you feel crap and what is your scan looking for? Do you do a trigger with super ovulation?

@Yuliaaa good luck for Saturday. Yes I also heard that lining shrinks/changes post ovulation. I think the thickest point is before. It's hard to feel enthusiastic when things haven't worked before but this is a whole new cycle so fingers crossed xxx

I am ok. Trying to get a bit healthier. (Slightly) less sugar, much less booze etc. Also entered a 5mile run which is nuts as I'm totally unfit and it's in 3 weeks but I figure my body doesn't have to be relaxed until transfer day and it may be good to do some fitness - I won't push it and can walk some of it if need be

hope you all are doing well.

i just took progesterone tablets and got my periods 5 days later which lasted for less than 1/2 a day and was only a few punk spots and then it was brown and stopped. I know I had a thick lining last cycle is this normal? Anyone experienced it before due to start FET this month xx

Hi @Babydustt12 are you sure it's your period and not spotting? Do you track your cycle at all? Or have you done any tests recently? When I did my endometrio biopsy, my cycle was shorter.

I've had some ewcm this morning 🤞I don't think I'll ovulate without the trigger as I'm on estrogen too. Really hoping I'll have some good follicles on Monday.

@Janefx40 I'll be taking ovitrelle trigger. Well done for signing up to the run! I'm trying to walk more. I have finally lost a bit of weight, think the metformin has helped a bit, typically just as I am about to start progesterone pred again! 😅

I've been struggling with no energy @seven201 you're right, you just have to muddle through. What time is your scan on Monday? 🤞

Nice to hear everyone's updates. This month seems quite busy, doesn't it?

I am tired too from all the medication and struggling to survive each day. This morning I took a walk to work and by the time I got there, I was already worn out!
Sometimes I wonder how normal people live their lives. 😀

Thank you so much for you wishes! I have just left the clinic. It went smoothly this time, I didn't feel a thing. But of course meanwhile I became very emotional and cried on the way to the clinic.

I am scheduled for the beta on 1st or 2nd. I am not planning to test while waiting, never did it before either.
