Thanks both. I'm hoping I'm back to normal today and won't do anything else stupid! @Babydustt12 it definitely wasn't your fault - I went IVF mad for a bit! I think I'll just stay away from extra supplements.

@Yuliaaa that's strange it used to go down again. I hope it behaves itself this month for you!

Oh @seven201 ❤️ I hope you're OK. Please don't panic. Good news about your scan.

I did look into NAC but I read somewhere that you're not supposed to take it if on aspirin, which is part of my protocol, so I just didn't bother. Plus I'm on a billion other tablets. But I do take selinium and vitamin E at the moment. Ugh. Its information and stress overload.

Interestingly at my last review with Dr S, I noticed he's added 400mg of coq-10 to the protocol. I already took ubiquinol, but was only doing 200mg, so have upped that.

@Violette22 I hope you're OK. Are you still bleeding? Have you been able to speak with your doctor? I'm sorry that you can't go to get checked out today.

Massive temp drop today, so really hoping af is on her way. I had a dream last night that we did another round of ivf and they got 15 eggs (ha) and they all made great day 5 blasts. Definitely dreaming 🤣

@Yuliaaa I’m very similar - very light periods don’t even need to use a pad. But I’ll be getting my periods in a few days now and very interested to see if my periods will increase /change with the supplements. Have you done ERA?

@seven201 don’t worry we all go through ivf mad from time to time. Glad to know you are better now

@VenusStarr interesting to know Dr.S has added Q10. Did he say why? Is it for immune issues?

@Babydustt12 no, I don't think it's for immunes, it's just part of the preconception plan

@VenusStarr makes sense. I was told it’s mainly to improve egg quality.

@Babydustt12 I haven't done ERA yet. Endometrio will be my last set of tets if this transfer fails.
@seven201 glad to hear you're feeling better. Don't stress yourself unnecessarily.

@Babydustt12 this is my last one. It's a day 3. I have never transferred a day 3 before.

Thank you @Yuliaaa she arrived this evening! 🙌 Going to start letrozole on Sunday and got my follicle scan booked for a week on Monday.
When will transfer be?

@VenusStarr Great news! 🤞for the follicles to grow nicely!
FET should be next week on Friday or Saturday, depending on how things look on Monday. 😵‍💫

Everything crossed for Monday's scan 🤞 how are you feeling?

Hi girls I will read all your messages in a bit, just wanted to update my situation.

So on Wednesday literally on the same second I tested positive for covid I started bleeding red. It was really stressfull cause I had to cancel my scan. Yesterday I bled bright red blood, not a big amount but still very scaring and I was 100 percent sure there is nothing living anymore.

I contacted my doctor and he giggled to me "we can sneek out and do a scan during the weekend although you have covid". So today we went for the scan and things were measuring to date! After a little while he could even notice a heartbeat, we are around 5+6 now. My doctor is an amazing human being, this was the second Saturday in a row he took me in to check the situation (Saturdays are free here and the clinic is closed). I am a bit shocked, I still have no symptoms and was really already considering the next steps thinking Ive miscarried.

There was no hematoma so we dont know where the bleed comes from, it is quite weird and ofcourse I am still worried, it is very early days.

What a roller-coaster @Violette22 ik so pleased you're measuring on track and have a heartbeat 💓 wonderful news. Are you taking progesterone? Just thinking if you are and doing it vaginally, might be cervix irritation?

@seven201 Dont worry about the NAC, Im sure you didnt cause any harm with taking it. I took it along other supplements for many months daily and always had a good lining, I didnt stop it during period either (I wasnt in IVF though, dont know if there's a difference with the period rule).

@Yuliaaa I hope you will get to do your FET next week! How exciting 🤗What will be your protocol for the immune meds?

@VenusStarr Thanks for all the support, you are most kind 💚.Yes, I am taking progesterone also vaginally in addition to the injections and oral tablets, so quite a dose. Lets hope the bleed is related to that! You had earlier asked if Im on blood thinners and yes I am. Doctor adviced to continue them after there was no hematoma in the scan. I am also taking tablets that stop bleeds. I think this is a very rare drug to be used but my doctor thinks that in certain situations they can really help. I am happy to hear you got your AF and start looking ahead to the super ovulation 😍. Around when are you expecting it to occur?

@Violette22 I am so happy to hear that things are going good and the little bean is where he should be. Hopefully things will settle down and you can relax a bit because you have been through so much! 💜 I'll be on prednisolone, clexane, aspirin and intralipids. Thanks for the good wishes!

@VenusStarr I am glad to hear you feel so motivated. I always felt that way everytime I started a new cycle or investigations. I don't know how I feel to be honest. I get excited everytime I go to the clinic, but then anxiety hits hard. I don't know what to do with myself anymore 😄.

@Yuliaaa thank you 😚I know it doesnt cause a miscarriage to be optimistic but still I feel like I dont want to get my hopes up too much so I wouldnt be even more disappointed if things dont turn out well...

Your protocol sounds good. Have you had the same before or are there some modifications compared to your previous transfers?

@Violette22 I would feel the same as you. I think it's only natural to feel that way after all the heartache.

First transfer medicted (4BB untested) no immune medication (only aspirin) - BFPish because beta on 9dp5dt = 6. After 2 days went down to 0. My consultant suspected that the issue was the embryo. That round I got 1 embryo out of 6 fertilized and the eggs didn't look good on collection.

Second transfer - natural, only estrogen pessaries added 2 days before ovulation (4AA untested) 5mg of prednisone and aspirin - BFN on 9dp5dt. I checked my lining on 9dp and it was 9.5. My consultant, who is also an embryologist, suspects lining was at fault. That round I got 2 out of 5. The last one was frozen on day 3. I think he is good looking 8 cells. The 4AA was a 10 cells on day 3.

So this round we are throwing in a few things hoping things might work out!

Morning everyone. Starting letrazole and estrogen today. I'm feeling anxious. I was / am hopeful, but now its here I'm really scared of what could happen.

@Violette22 it's so hard. With my second pregnancy I was so anxious I didn't enjoy a second of that pregnancy and I've got a lot of trauma associated with that loss. In my pregnancies since, I've tried really hard to enjoy the time I have with the babies. Even though all my outcomes have been the same, I can look back on them and feel some happiness. You have to do what is best for you to get through each day.

@Yuliaaa I hope the protocol changes are what you need. Hoping all goes well tomorrow.

@seven201 when is your next scan? I hope you're feeling OK about things.

@VenusStarr I think I read somewhere (possibly it starts with the egg) you shouldn't take vitamin E and aspirin together. I definitely could have made that up so don't take my word on that. And I doubt it's a big issue. Don't want to worry you! Dr S also has me on 400 CoQ10. Cp

@Yuliaaa I hope the scan goes well tomorrow and you're all set for a transfer on fri or sat.

@Violette22 what a brilliant doctor you have. What a relief. I hope the bleeding stops. Could you switch to an anal suppository? I find the vaginal way quite an irritant.

I've had headaches, swollen eyes and feel a bit sick since starting on the estrogen (patches and tablets and viagra) on Tuesday. Spent a few hours in bed today as just feel rubbish. Not sure if it's all the meds, could be a bit of hayfever too. Not sure if I should take antihistamines or not. Got acupuncture tomorrow then first scan a week Monday 🤞.

Thanks @seven201 just had a Google and it says can increase bleeding... might have to do a bit more research. I take vitamin E first thing, then aspirin around 9pm, not sure if timings make a difference.

Sorry you're getting the estrogen effects, not looking forward to them! Good to hear things are moving forwards 🙂

@seven201 are you doing Accupunture with electrical stimulation? Heard that works better
