@Yuliaaa congrats on the transfer. Now just be lovely to yourself for the next 10 days!! X

@Yuliaaa excellent news. I'm glad it went smoothly (other than the crying). Nice to have the rest of the weekend to chill out (and overthink things!).

@VenusStarr good luck for your scan on Monday. Mine is 12.30 and I'm having neupogen in my uterus at the same time, to help my lining. Well done on the weight loss.

@Janefx40 5 miles - wow. Great thing to do. I've been trying to do 10,000 steps a day but some days I am just so low on energy all I can do is flop on the sofa after work. I think my scan is mainly just to see if my lining is doing the right things and no cysts etc. transfer should be the week after. Mentally I don't think I could cope with another cancelled cycle.

Babydustt12 · 22/05/2022 08:41

@Yuliaaa
congratulations on the transfer. Fingers crossed for you 💕

Babydustt12 · 22/05/2022 08:42

@VenusStarr had a scan done and my lining was less than 2 mm turns out it was a period 🤷‍♀️

VenusStarr · 22/05/2022 09:03

That's strange @Babydustt12 did they say why your luteal phase was so short? What's it like normally? Do you think you definitely ovulate, just wondering if it could've been annovulatory? Or maybe you ovulate earlier than you thought. X

Babydustt12 · 22/05/2022 09:59

@VenusStarr - actually I didn’t ovulate at all. I took progesterone tablets to get my periods and it was just a spot though. However I had a scan before my periods and my lining was 11mm so not sure where did all the lining go? but I have started estrogen tablets now for FET. How are you doing?

VenusStarr · 22/05/2022 10:21

Interesting. I don't know! @Babydustt12 I know when I stopped progesterone in my era cycle i came on early but cant remember the flow. But good you've been checked and you're good to go. How you feeling about your FET? When's your next scan?

I'm OK, been feeling surprisingly rough this cycle, really hoping it is a good sign for tomorrow. The closer I'm getting, I'm a bit anxious that something will go wrong. A year tomorrow is my first ever transfer anniversary. Can't believe where the time has gone and what's happened in between.

How's every today @Janefx40 @Gardenlady543 @StillTrying10000 @MyEasterEggs @seven201 @Yuliaaa @Violette22 💕

Janefx40 · 22/05/2022 10:54

@Babydustt12 so strange about the light period but it just goes to show...there seems to be very little relationship between period heaviness and lining thickness. I've always had light periods compared to some but always had good linings. Admittedly my most recent period was super light but am hoping it doesn't mean anything!

I'm ok. Just did a practice of the 5 mile course (with lots of walking!). It was ok. 3 weeks until race day!!!

Good luck tomorrow @seven201 and @VenusStarr!! Fingers crossed you'll get good news! 💜

@Janefx40 I think some sort of physical activity does magic, especially during stressful moments. A marathon is awesome!

@Babydustt12 as my consultant says, every cycle is different so perhaps there was no correlation between the lining and the flow. 🤞you get a thick lining this cycle!

I've been a couch potato since last night, but I am planning to go for a walk later this afternoon.
None of my friends knows about this transfer and I feel strangely relieved because I don't have to answer any questions. Some of them dissapointed me along the way so we grew apart.

Hope you ladies are having a nice Sunday!
Sending you lots of hugs!

Babydustt12 · 22/05/2022 12:00

@VenusStarr yeah I know how stressful it is. I need to keep reminded myself my body can do it and feel you need to have the right mind set but it’s so hard to get there.

good luck for tomorrow will be thinking off you xx

Babydustt12 · 22/05/2022 12:03

@Janefx40 thats good to know that light periods has got nothing to do with lining as I always thought there was a link.
well done on the long walk.
I was planning on doing the great north run this july (never ran in my life) but going for an FET so won’t be doing that.

Babydustt12 · 22/05/2022 12:05

@Yuliaaa thats makes sense thank you.
i Haven’t told anyone this time as well and I feel it take the pressure off when you don’t need to give an explanation. Just do what makes you feel better 💕

seven201 · 22/05/2022 19:28

@Babydustt12 congrats on getting started on your FET cycle. Try not to worry about the light period. Sometimes they're just weird.

@Yuliaaa I hope you enjoyed your walk. Sorry to hear that in the past some of your friends haven't been as supportive as they could have been.

I hope everyone has had a good day. I did some therapeutic pressure washing then went for a nice walk. Boo that it's nearly not the weekend!

@VenusStarr good luck for tomorrow

Gardenlady543 · 22/05/2022 21:33

Good news I'm still alive! I am feeling quite hopeless about everything at the moment, I know I want the fibroids out I just don't know what to think of the immune stuff, trying to take things one step at a time.

The sperm tests came back:
My husband has a normal microbiome which is good.
The DNA fragmentation came out at 10.62%, which as far I can tell is normal but it is stated that the ones that did have damage presented high levels of DNA damage.

I have been done some healthy things, I started going to the gym again. I guess I've been scared of doing things in case it affects chances but I'm not sure the situation could be much worse at this point since it's been over 2.5 years without a single positive test.

I hope everyone ok, I think I've missed a lot of posts!

seven201 · 22/05/2022 22:00

@Gardenlady543 good to see you back. Those results sound good to me (although I admit to knowing nothing about that). What's the latest with the fibroids then? Gym sounds a good idea - especially if it is something you enjoy.

seven201 · 22/05/2022 22:59

Does anyone know why if you're having intralipids you need to speak to the clinic if you've had diarrhoea or vommiting within 24 hours? I've got a bit of an upset stomach (which isn't that unusual for me) and it's possible my intralipids will be on Tuesday. Google isn't helping me.

VenusStarr · 23/05/2022 06:16

@seven201 I know there's a sign saying to speak to them about intralipids if you've had d&v - not sure what the risk is though. Do you think its related to the metformin as I think it can affect your stomach sometimes. Do you feel well in yourself?

🤞for your scan today.

@Gardenlady543 good to hear from you 💕 your dh's sperms dna is good I think.
I'm sorry you're feeling hopeless, it's relentless for you right now. I was reflecting last night and its hard to believe this is my life. I think having other things that make you feel good can never be a bad thing.

I've been awake since 5.30, getting up now as we're setting off at 7.30. I feel anxious, really hoping today goes smoothly.

Hope everyone is OK, I'll let you know how it goes x

Janefx40 · 23/05/2022 07:18

Good luck @VenusStarr @seven201 for your scans

@Gardenlady543 good to hear from you. Sorry you've been feeling crap. I think as long as there is enough healthy sperm you are fine. Do you have a consultation to discuss the results?

X

@VenusStarr thank you. That's the thing, I'm on so many tablets that I do just sometimes have an upset stomach. And also when I'm anxious or nervous it can happen. Feel fine otherwise. I don't think it classes as diarrhoea as I slept fine. Will see how today goes. Good luck today, I hope it goes smoothly.

VenusStarr · 23/05/2022 07:34

I wouldn't think it is either @seven201 I wouldn't be concerned about it and just carry on as normal ❤️

Thank you @Janefx40 xx

seven201 · 23/05/2022 13:44

So my appointment was a bit up and down. New doctor, but he was nice. Always a bit odd having a man doing all that stuff, but fine.

My lining is only 6mm. Bit gutted. Initially he thought I should move my intralipids (tomorrow) until later in the week but actually because of bank holidays and egg transfers for others he eventually decided on keeping it for tomorrow with the aim to transfer next Thursday. I'm going for another scan on Thursday. He said there's a chance if my lining hasn't improved that it might be cancelled. Hopefully not as had the neupogen and he's increased the frequency of my estrogen patches and increased the pills dose. I was really hoping my lining would be better this time after the adhesion surgery!

Violette22 · 23/05/2022 14:07

@VenusStarr how did your appointment go? Thinking of you💛

@seven201 I hope your lining will be thicker by Thursday and you can go to transfer, keep us updated💙

@Gardenlady543 It is nice to hear from you. Im glad your mans results were good so no new obstacles on your way 🤗. Would like to hear what are your currenr thoughts regarding the immune things?

@Yuliaaa how have you been feeling after Saturday? Thinking of you 💚

I had another scan today and now we got a good measurement, 7+1 excactly like I have counted based on ovulation💝 (I was measuring only 6+1/6+2 on Wednesday and been really worried since).

It is funny how my brain works, It is really hard to think positively, I keep looking for negative symptoms etc. I kept asking the doctor "is there something wrong" when he was scanning, honestly I even couldnt first look at the screen. Those seconds during the scan can really change things in one way or the other.

I still have very little symptoms by the way, I have been a bit tired but I also sleep very poorly. So based on my symptoms It is hard to believe that there really is something alive. I guess I should be just grateful.

Janefx40 · 23/05/2022 14:09

@seven201 I don't think that lining is bad at all.

I looked it up and you are basically 10 days before transfer. 9 days before my previous transfer my lining was at 7.2 and then 8 days before transfer it was 8.5 so thickening about 1.3 per day. I didn't get measured at the equivalent day to you but based on that rate of growth I would have also been 6mm at this point too. It was 10.3 when we triggered. So really don't worry. I think this is fine

Xxx

Good news @Violette22 ❤️

I'm sorry @seven201 what cycle day are you?

Not good news for me. I've barely responded, got quite a few follicles but none bigger than 8mm. My lining is thin too, around 6.5mm but that's on 6mg of estrogen. Got to go back on Friday to see if anythings happened. But I'm worried how this will affect my cycle and going into my FET

Violette22 · 23/05/2022 14:16

@VenusStarr Im so sorry to hear your appointment didnt bring good news yet. Which cycle day are you now? Keeping everything crossed that things will improve by Friday, there are four long days for things to grow 💛
