@Yuliaaa sory about the estrogen side effects, not looking forward to those! I hope your scan goes well today 🤞

@seven201 good that you've got a lot of your meds, I need to sort through mine and see what I need. Hope your scan goes well today, let us know 🙂

@StillTrying10000 I'm sorry you didn't go yesterday, a whole extra day to wait is hard. Hope your transfer goes well ❤️ good that you've got some things booked, distractions definitely help. Will you test early?

Hope you're having a nice break @Janefx40

Thinking of you @Violette22 💜

Temp is dropping, so hopefully af will be here tomorrow 🤞 xx

Yuliaaa · 12/05/2022 08:13

Thank you girls!

Babydustt12 · 12/05/2022 10:53

I find that so interesting that you have no problems with your first one and then the same person has issues for the second one xx

Babydustt12 · 12/05/2022 10:57

I was wondering if anyone had any advise - I have tried multiple FET but all been cancelled because the lining was think enough. I’ve never been given any injections like Leuprorelin at the start or anything to prevent ovulation. I do have pcos and don’t ovulate regularly but the my first failed FET I had a dominant follicle and was given an hcg trigger just before starting progesterone.

for my ERA I was given anything and didn’t have a dominant follicle and worried this cycle might have one xx

Violette22 · 12/05/2022 12:01

Sorry for not reading all messages, Im a mess with the covid symptoms and the bleeding :(

I am pretty sure the embryo is not alive anymore, I have had some miscarriage type feelings in uterus.

I feel so depressed 😢Why doesnt my luck already turn? I bled two months from my last miscarriage in November and then it took 3 months for the Emma tests and no it looks like there will be more suffering. Honestly I am suffering right now😭

Violette22 · 12/05/2022 12:02

And I had to cancel my scan for tomorrow due to covid so they cant see where the bleed is coming from and make decisions on my heparin/ blood thickening meds :(((

Yuliaaa · 12/05/2022 17:11

@Violette22 oh no! I am so sorry ! I don't even know what to say, I can't imagine what you are going through! 🥺

Yuliaaa · 12/05/2022 17:12

@Violette22 have you spoken to the clinic? What's the earliest they can see you?

seven201 · 12/05/2022 18:06

@StillTrying10000 how did it go?

@Babydustt12 what do you take for thin lining? For me I have extra estrogen, viagra, aspirin and neupogen infusion. Your clinic should be coming up with things to try. I did take all
Those things one cycle and it was still cancelled due to just not getting beyond 5 ish mm. What does yours usually get to? I'm happy ish if mine gets above 7.

@Violette22 I'm sorry you can't go in the clinic. What awful timing. Are you bleeding a lot? What have the clinic said you should do?

My scan went fine today, which is a huge relief, as I've had cycles cancelled at baseline before. Feels good to have got started! I now have estrogen patches on my bum and have taken my first estrogen tablets and viagra (always makes me smile taking that one!).

Yuliaaa · 12/05/2022 19:00

My scan went well, it seems that lining was at 7.2. I will have another scan on Monday and continue with the tablets meanwhile and as of tonight one progynova taken vaginally.

@Babydustt12 I tried a mild stimulation with Menopur once to get the lining thickenned. It reached 10mm after 9 days of injections (if I remember well), but we cancelled the transfer because I developed a cyst and some fluid in the uterus and the pain was unbearable. Also, my previous transfer was done on a natural cycle, using estrogen pessaries 2 days before ovulation and aspirin to thicken the lining. Unfortunately it was a BFN.

Babydustt12 · 12/05/2022 21:11

@seven201 i was given estrogen tablets but might change to patches this time as heard patches are better at increasing lining. But this time I tried l-arginine, vitamin e, NAC (before periods started) ovarianne and ginko and my lining went up to 11mm which is the first time for me

Babydustt12 · 12/05/2022 21:14

@Yuliaaa sorry to hear about that.
this time I did a natural cycle and my lining was up to 11mm I think it’s with all the supplements I take. But didn’t do the transfer as I had done era with medicated cycle. While I was waiting for the era results I just decided to get a scan to see what my lining was doing

Yuliaaa · 12/05/2022 21:30

@Babydustt12 I started almost the same supplements a few months back and I could see some improvements. It thickened by 2 or 3 mm on average. I think you may be right about the supplements.

seven201 · 12/05/2022 21:31

@Babydustt12 l-arginine and vitamin make no difference for me. I've not heard of NAC, ovarianne or ginko so I'll look them up at some stage. Can't you take all those whilst doing a FET? 11mm is amazing!!!

@Yuliaaa my clinic would book me in for transfer if I get to 7. What are you aiming for? I've done them vaginally before. It is weird trying to get them in/to stay in sometimes!

seven201 · 12/05/2022 21:38

Actually, I have tried NAC, but not for long think. Now I'm thinking I could take it for this cycle (I have some here). I've not asked my doctors though.

Also, I just posted that response accidentally on someone's thread about how much it would cost to move to the UK Blush

seven201 · 12/05/2022 22:04

Now I've gone down a Google rabbit hole and am freaking out that my lining won't thicken. So I've just taken some NAC and vit E but it's a bit silly as I'm sure you're meant to take them for months, not just 2-3 weeks! I've also messaged my acupuncturist Confused. Does anyone know of Dr Shehata is against these kinds of supplements?

Babydustt12 · 12/05/2022 22:08

That’s good to know you had them as well and I think 2-3 mm if def a win win. Which all did you take ?

while I was waiting for my era results and not on any estrogen tablets I did a scan just to check and my lining was 11 mm. And I wansnt sure if my body doesn’t respond to meds and only responds naturally (not sure if that is a thing ) but now I think it’s the supplements

Babydustt12 · 12/05/2022 22:10

@seven201 you can’t take NAC during your periods as it gets estrogen to leave your body and ofcourse we don’t want that. All the rest you can take untill transfer and I feel it works

Babydustt12 · 12/05/2022 22:11

@seven201 make sure to stop NAC when you get your period.
what I have heard is that Dr S is against suppmenets? Not sure if that is true

seven201 · 12/05/2022 22:12

@Babydustt12 shit. I took a NAC about 10
Mins ago. Shit

Babydustt12 · 12/05/2022 22:13

@Yuliaaa the above mesaage was a reply to you didn’t tag you

Babydustt12 · 12/05/2022 22:16

@seven201 honestly don’t worry about it. 1 dose is not going to make any difference whatsoever.
are you on estrogen tablets now?

seven201 · 12/05/2022 22:24

@Babydustt12 I have officially gone insane. I just googled how to make yourself sick and after sticking my fingers down my throat and that not working I've drunk salt water. What the fuck am I doing?! Yes, I'm on estrogen tablets (not as high a dose as I've previously had and overthinking that) and patches. Yesterday I was normal, today I have gone ivf mad.

Babydustt12 · 13/05/2022 07:01

@seven201 I’m really sorry I feel like I have caused this. I took NAC throughout my natural cycle (not knowing I should be taking it) and my thickness was 11mm. So calm down 1 tablet is not going to make any diff whatsoever.
just try to relax and the best thing to do is to visualise and see a nice thick lining and trust me that will be the most powerful thing 💕

Yuliaaa · 13/05/2022 07:10

@seven201 we want the lining to be around 8 or more and stay that way. The latest issue with my lining is that it thickens before ovulation and it drops back to 5 or 6 right after. Before it used not to thicken at all. My periods are also very light. My consultant suspects that something is wrong with the pituitary gland, somehow is malfunctiong even though all the hormone level are usually in range. I can't pinpoint exactly what happened or when that affected my brain. The sad thing is that my chances of falling pregnant naturally are almost 0%. Don't worry about taking one tablet, it won't do any difference or damage. If you are unsure, don't take them at all and see how the treatment goes. Maybe it will be a good month.

@Babydustt12 I took vitamin E, Nac and L arginine. I could see the improvements. The only issue was the one I told Seven about. Now I am curious to see if something similar happens on medication.
