I have 5 embryos in the freezer and my embryologyst asked me which one I want to trasfer for my FET cycle very soon . I have ICSI embryo grade 3AA and normal IVF embryo is 3BB .
All the others are 3BB too .
I chose ICSI embryo because it was the best quality , 3AA . Did I make a wrong choice as normal ivf embryos are more natural in my opinion ? Sad

People may have all sorts of opinions but neither is right or wrong, if you chose IVF you would be wondering if you should have gone ICSI.

My ICSI baby is now a towering teen! Smile
Wishing you lots of luck Flowers

I have always been told you put in the best Day 5 blast that you have. So assuming they are same day then I would just go with the best one. But really your clinic should be advising you not letting you pick!!

Good luck 😀

I don't think is makes a difference how they were made? The fact they made it to a day 5 blastocyst surely is the most important factor? The only think I've read is that ICSI can increase chances of the embryo splitting and becoming twins and that there are slightly higher rates of girls born from ICSI than boys but other than that quality of them compared to "natural" IVF is irrelevant?

I decided to work backwards for my final transfers - ie leaving the top grade AA to last - psychologically I didn't want to have a failed transfer with an AA knowing I only had lower graded left

Also if you plan any double transfers some clinics won't do AA together

With My working backwards theory - I transferred a day 6 3BB with a day 5 BA and had twins (I still have my AA in the freezer 😬) - all ICSI by the way

Having the AA still frozen is comforting knowing that if I wanted try for a sibling I've still got a good chance (hardest thing with be convincing DH though after the twins!)

Well they all made it to day 5,that's the important thing, it doesn't matter how they were made, good luck with transfer x

Whatever choice you'll make at this point, I think it's a matter of luck. Just make sure to never look back and blame yourself for this decision. Hugs to you and keeping everything crossed for you
