I can't see that anyone else has started one yet, so I thought I may as well!

Just got my calendar through today and will be downregging in three weeks time, starting stims in late October, with EC provisionally in early November. This is my second round, which will now be ICSI-only after my last one ended up with a total fertilisation failure

Anyone else on the same sort of timeframe?

I had my doctors consult today... Was OK... Donor eggs were mentioned but I think they saw my face was not ready for that ... Basically it comes down to fluctuating fsh which is due to my age... Some months it's high and others it's low. They are amending the protocol as per my wishes. But we will now also do a same day fsh blood test so basically will need to know my FSH before starting stimms. If its a high month then wj wait til the next month etc until we get a low month where response may be better. I'm glad to have a plan in place but it feels like it's gonna take forever as I can't start til new year x

I’m jumping on this thread late due to having previous cycles cancelled and on and off treatment for 3 years. I finally had my ET last Monday 22nd November. I caved and tested on day 7 I’ve got faint lines on all tests and tested and got another faint line this morning. This whole process has taught me to not get over excited and I keep thinking things will change before my OTD Friday. I know it sounds so negative but this journey has really taught me to never got my hopes up even DH can’t get excited as we keep thinking what hurdle is coming next. Has anyone else struggled with this? We wait so long to see the positive line and it comes and I still worry really feel like I can’t win at the moment.

@Tiger86 congratulations that looks like a good positive! 😊 I started bleeding on Monday at 8dp5dt so that’s us out again! Same thing happened last time.. I’ve had my down moment it’s just soo hard after everything you go through to get to this point!

Hey all, I did an early detection test this morning so 9dp5dt and it was negative. Official test day Thursday. What I was expecting but hard all the same. Tww definitely the hardest part. Big hugs to everyone x

@Reevalyneete welcome it is so hard. Clear positives there though for you. I know what you mean about not getting excited though I had a positive at 7dp5dt too and then will test tomorrow morning and hoping line is a little darker after leaving it a couple of days. I still won't be able to get excited though if it is still positive tomorrow until the 12 week scan and that seem like a long time away! I have had a miscarriage before with a natural pregnancy and it was not expected and hit me so hard. I'm not going to let myself think too much ahead and just take each day as it comes it is all we can do. I think after years of negative tests though I will allow myself a little happiness of at least getting to the next stage and that it could work out. I am speaking to a counsellor tomorrow from the clinic and plan to ask for tips of how to stay calm for this next bit if I get a positive tomorrow so I will share any words of wisdom with you a I definitely need some tips! X

So after my horrible dream this morning I've caved tonight and done a test 🤦🏻‍♀️ now I don't know if I should be exited or just worried as it could just be a line from the trigger why do I do this to myself! Sorry just needed to get it out and speak about it x

@ivf1sttime I am sure that is a positive and not from the trigger all that I had read says trigger is out your system by 10 days after you take it and definitely by 2 weeks. Another test in a couple of days will give you a clear answer as trigger wouldn't make a stronger positive.

Hopefully I can get a little excited now as a stronger positive for me this morning 9dp5dt!!

@Tiger86 completely agree we wait so long for the positive line and then when it comes still worry! So happy that you had a darker line today mine was the same and it did give me little butterfly’s in my stomach! My clinic are ringing on Friday morning then I think it’s a scan in three weeks time? I’ve never got to this stage before so don’t really know next steps. Tips from counselling would be amazing thank you! Xx

I've just had my egg collection and despite 7-8 follicles which I was already a but disappointed with, we only got 4 with the drop off between fertilisation and day 5 I'm worried how low our odds are 😔

@LivingonaPrayerandGin thank you! Aww it’s hard to see that drop off rate it’s horrible.. but 4 is still a good number

@LivingonaPrayerandGin thanks I'm not getting to excited yet gonna wait till like day 9 and test again so scary. I only ended up with 1 embryo on transfer day and I was upset too as I had 16 eggs collected so 4 is a good amount you have I didn't get any frozen xx

Thanks ladies! That's 4 collected, so still the fertilisation hurdle and then getting to day 5...just know our odds are slim of there's to be drop off along each stage.

@LivingonaPrayerandGin I defo feel from egg collection it's the hardest part just all the waiting for to see how they are getting on then it's a worry transferring one to see if it works. I have everything crossed for you for next 5 days xx

Hey everyone, I'm back (I know it's only been a couple of days), been really hard not to keep picking up my phone, as have really wanted to Google every little thing. Hope each and everyone of you are doing as well as possible, whether it's the devastating negatives, exciting yet scary positives, or even the dreaded 2 week wait... sending you all ❤️

Transfer was 2.30 Monday, I plan on testing Sunday, although OTD is actually 9th lol. Have had period pains since the transfer, assumed it was from the procedure, but surely they would have stopped by now? It's nothing major, just feels like a mild dragging sensation, and crampy. Any ideas ladies, or is this a simple case of symptom spotting? Lol x

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I had cramps up till about 4 days after the transfer and very sore boobs but I just took it all as part of the medication and stuff ur on cause I was too scared to get any of my hopes up. It's so hard tho as soon as transfer is done u notice any symptom drives u crazy well it is me keep googling it all 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Ivf1sttime yep same, will be really disappointed if the cramps stop now, as taking it as a good sign, because surely if it's from the transfer it wouldn't have lasted this long- plus I didn't get any cramps at all for last transfer.... actually really excited to test :)

I've went from im not testing till my ofd to testing every day 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm not that excited tho as I feel my line is so weak like it's gonna end up being a negative.

Has anyone else tested every day and got these lines and ended up with a Bfp xx
