Have supplements improved your Or your DH’s fertility enough to enable a natural conception...or as I clutching at straws?

DH and I are now on a massive array of supplements:
FH Pro for Women/Men

DH is on Proxeed due to 2% normal speed morphology and a whole bunch of other stuff like Zinc and Krill oil. He’s been amazing and doing absolutely everything he can but will it make any difference?

He doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink and is a healthy weight already....

On my side, I have ‘possible’ mild Endometriosis...

Any positive stories welcome...

We have been trying for almost 3 years and gearing ourselves up for IVF if this doesn’t work

None of it helped with the TTC but it helped to feel like I was doing something and it's no bad thing to be healthy for starting IVF.

I'd get that possible endometriosis investigated a bit further, at least to know the significance of it. Have you had many tests done? What were the findings?
I would say set a deadline on how long you will give the supplements a chance to work so you can move to the next step if needed with no regrets and without wasting too much time. You can always research clinics or maybe attend a virtual open evening for more info on IVF. Or ask all kinds of questions here!

My partner had 1% morphology. Took some supplements but ultimately we knew we were looking at ivf
We didn't need icsi though and managed to get four day five embryos and one is currently on board at 7 weeks :)

If I'm honest supplements made no difference for us and I did 5 rounds of IVF with ICSI in 18 months

I was taking
Proceive Max for women
Royal jelly
Coq10 then Ubquinol

DH was on Proceive Max for men (sperm morphology of 2%)

Anyway nothing made a difference - until we changed ivf protocol to natural modified IVF...I then had twins

In terms of DH his best sperm sample was the egg collection we did just after new year after weeks of boozing and high fat / generally unhealthy foods - his morphology jumped to 6%! (ThAt was the cycle we made our twins).

Our worst cycle was the one after lockdown after 3 months of both of us healthy eating, no booze semi vegan diet, losing weight and lots of exercise - didn't get any blastocysts so had to thaw our new year ones (and these are our twins!)

@andivfmakes3 it takes around 3 months to generate new sperm I believe?
So the boozing and junk food may not have made a difference as it was so close, but then three months later it did seem to make a difference?

He was on the super healthy diet for 3 months and got the worst results out of 5 egg collections

In comparison he had several weeks - at least 2 months - November and December- and several weeks before that of not really trying very hard (we'd given up really by this point) - of rubbish living and made our twins

Thanks all, I appreciate you sharing your experiences I think we will try the supplements but not bank on the fact there will be a massive change
