Hi Guys, how are you all doing? Haven't checked in with you all.

So im going to start my treatment either this month or next month cycle depending. Woohoo. They said i need a blood test before i start? What is that for?

Feel nervous and excited. We are on long protocol icsi.

Random question do they give u a scan picture thing when they do you're embryo implementation.

@PurpleUnicorn01 hey we were told we needed ICSI but on the day the sample was good enough for IVF - they might change it on the day! I got to take a picture of our embryo on the screen, didn't get a print out.

@PurpleUnicorn01 we got a scan given to us at moment of implantation, and we watched the whole thing on screen at the time.

We also got a usb from the embryoscope with all the pictures from its first 5 days.
It is absolutely incredible to be able to say that I have seen our baby from day 1!

That is amazing. Im with the nhs so i don't think they will be advanced enough to give a usb lol.

Also how soon did you guys take a pregnancy test. Do the hospital also do one? Thanks all

We were nhs too so all of that is extra. We did pay £200 for embryo glue as an add on though.

Tested 11days passed 5 day transfer and very clear positive or might of been 10 days. All seems so long ago now. You really do forget all the injections and stress

Is it the serology blood test? To check for deseases? It's the only one I got before treatment.
I had to fight in my private clinic for a picture or my embryo.. 🙈 but again my clinic hasn't been the best.
About pregnancy test, i've seen NHS just give you a test and tell you to test on X day and i've seen women asked to go for BETA. Not sure if different clinics have different protocols. It also happens with private clinics.
Either way I tested really early at 7dp5dt with a frer 🙈 and got a strong positive already. (I was supposed to wait until beta blood test but...)

Scan went very well. Actually measured a day different 12 weeks 5 days due 15th December not 16th now. Baby was the wrong way so I had to jump around and wiggle about. Told friends and family this evening but still doesn't feel real. Telling work tomorrow.

Anyone else had to have a consultant meeting because it's ivf? Went back today to see doctor just checked blood pressure that's it and more notes completed. Said she wants to see me again at 30 weeks 6th October. I like having more appointments to be fair 🤣

@6543336787gesgvjhg not me, I was told now it's just as any other pregnancy and low risk so all as normal. Haha
I get what you say though, it's nice to know they care about you.
We went yesterday 9w for a scan, we had some ideas to tell parents and they all haven't been possible to do so we went to get some pics where baby is a bit more in shape. All very exciting! Xx

Aww such lovely news everyone. Random question at what point after your positive did you have a scan was it just 12 weeks ir do u get one earlier?

@PurpleUnicorn01 with my clinic we had a scan at 7 weeks, looked like a kidney bean. We were then released back to NHS. Then met midwife at 8 weeks she then booked 12 week scan for us.

@Sungirl11 I am 32. What about you?

I had my official scan yesterday and both babies doing well so was told to register with the midwife care in my area which I did when I got home and got my appointments through today! First antenatal appointment is 6th July when I'll be 11 weeks and 12 week scan on 12th July

@Crazydoglady123 omg twins how exciting!! Did you have 2 embroyos transferred? Also what was the grade out of curiosity. Excited for youuuu

@PurpleUnicorn01 yes I asked for two to be transferred although they only advise one but agreed on the grade a and a grade c we had.
