High prolactin levels

Hi,

I hope I’m posting in the right place. Has anyone had this as a cause of recurrent miscarriage? TTC 16 months with 3 miscarriages, went for initial bloods before a referral could be made last week and everything came back normal other then really elevated levels of prolactin.

@Weswoo My doctor just called me on Friday and said the endocrinologist isn't concerned about my raised prolactin levels because back in Nov 19 when I had an ultrasound it showed small cysts on my ovaries which could cause high prolactin levels. It's really odd because I never received a report from the ultrasound. He is gonna repeat bloods in 4 weeks. I am now wondering if Vitex would be helpful now

@Weswoo it seems like I have PCOS and that is what is causing the rise in prolactin levels. I never knew this but it was spotted on an ultrasound i had a year ago and only found out now.

@rachsword that is terrible that they didn't tell you! But glad you have an explanation for the elevated levels
