I know cycles have been cancelled but how many are in there TWW now?

We know we were very lucky to get that many. I'm nearly 38 so was worried mine wouldn't be good enough.

I've only ever had one at a time, they've never recommended having two put in. I'm going to try and hold out until Sunday if I can

Morning @FairyAnn and @Xx40yearsyoungxx, I totally understand where you are right now. I've just got my BFP after 5 cycles and its feel sereal.
I'm 42 and this was going to be my last go and it's so painful going through it.
Before my BFP I had cramps and through AF was going to arrive so took the test early anyway, then every day for nearly a week until OTD. I have fingers crossed for you both

@41trying - congrats again. So exciting!
Can you remember how early the cramps started in your tww?
Did you have day 3 or day 5 embryos put in?

@Xx40yearsyoungxx, I had a day 2 transfer as I only had 2 eggs collected 1 fertilised
I think it was around day 4 or 5 after transfer on and off.

Don’t suppose you had any strange ‘side’ pains/cramps too - (probably ovary pain from egg collection thinking about it - although not sure I would get this with so few eggs collected)

Do you know when your due date is ?

I had all sorts of weird pains, very quick but yes.
Due date 16 Dec, just got my early scan for 2 weeks time

How are you? Any further symptoms? Bet your scan feels a long way away too

Evening at @Xx40yearsyoungxx oh I thought it was sooner than that.
My scan is 28th, yes it feels a lifetime away.
No real symptoms apart from my boobs, and not really eating that much.
How you coping?

@41trying - I think @FairyAnn tests sooner - poss Sunday from memory ..... it’s horrible just waiting. I’m also spending the waiting time googling symptoms and what it ‘should/possibly’ feel like. I must stop this!

I’m guessing the earliest I can possibly test is 9 days post transfer ? Or do you think it could be done sooner? When did you test again?

I did the same as you. Google everything, it's not good for you. I tested 12 days after trigger, which was quite early as I had a day 2 transfer, 6 days early lol, but then then wanted me to test 15days after transfer which I think was such a long time.
I read a lot tested 12 days after trigger

Yup, my test day is Sunday. Had to stop Googling as it was driving me mad 😅

@FairyAnn good luck tomorrow with testing ..... are you going to test today as well ?

I'm going to hold out for tomorrow as I've only got one test ☺️ Going to distract myself as much as possible today so I'm not constantly thinking about it.

If I'm honest, I don't think it has worked so I'm not in a massive hurry to test 🙁

Well, I think all that positive thinking from all of you paid off as we got our first ever BFP this morning.

What symptoms did you have / if any ?

Based on what some people have said I tested this morning (official test date not until 24th as it’s 13 days post trigger - 6dp5dt - But was BFN
I know that’s early but not feeling hopeful as from what I’m reading a lot of people would have tested BFP 13 days post trigger

Did you test at all during the TWW before today ?

Thank you ☺️ still can't quite believe it.

I had pains like muscle pulls for the first 3/4 days, then what felt exactly like period pain on the 6/7 day. Then nothing until yesterday when I stated to get slight cramping and muscle pull pain again.

My official test date is 24 th - in a couple of days but I’ve tested early and it looks like I’m out BFN now 9dp5dt . Do you guys know whether I have to go through the full planning consent etc etc etc to start all over again ( I didn’t have any Frosties ) and have all those initial bloods done again ? ( I’m guessing with Covid and the delay to clinics opening I’m going to have to start from scratch (

@Xx40yearsyoungxx, when did you test first time?? If it isn't great news, I didnt have to go through any bloods etc again, they just changed my drugs around and told me to try more vitamins for better egg quality. This was my 2 try and new clinic on long protocol and I am currently 6weeks, waiting for my early scan next week

I haven’t admitted it to OH but I have spent a complete fortune on different tests and have tested every day since 5dp5dt ..... all BFN

I’m now 9dp5dt so have given up hope and feeling really sad . What’s worse is that I got one of the clear blue tests out the bin the other day and thought I saw a very very very very very faint line and ordered another load of tests - this time first response which are meant to be the most sensitive - and all including today have been BFN

I’m guessing the clear blue are evaporation lines ( literally can only see then squinting in certain lights and on first glance can’t see anything ) . Did another clear blue yesterday and at the allotted test time you can see anything but if you leave until the next day you can see the ‘ evaporation line ‘ again - so faint that some people wouldn’t be able to see it - only desperate people like me praying for a miracle .

I’m thinking with lock down my bloods and consents will have to be done again due to time delay ? Did you have long protocol on both occasions ? Why don’t more people have short protocol and just start with stims do you know ?

@Xx40yearstoungxx I was the same as you last time, tested every day until OTD, trying to look for that line.
I had 3 rounds short and didnt even get a suitable egg to transfer. Then I did long with low meds following bloods and that was BFN.
This time I did long with max meds and also toon cq10 and it has worked so far.
Are you NHS or private?
