Normal hcg level after ivf?

Hi everyone just wondering if anyone can tell me what sort of numbers they had back after there first blood test “ to confirm pregnancy after ivf? Iknow everyone is different

Hi @stacey2007 just wanted to share some stats with you, we used a 5 day embryo and 9 days after transfer our HCG reading was 28, 2 days later is was 56, they told us to come back 2 weeks later for an early scan. Our clinic didn’t do any further blood tests, at the early scan (6 weeks) they could see an egg sack but no foetal pole so told us to come back in another week. It was an awful time and we were in limbo not knowing what was happening! I was googling the HCG levels and the reading wasn’t good so we feared the worse. At the 7 week scan there it was little baby with a heart beat flickering away! We had another one at 8 weeks before the clinic discharged us. Your initial reading was really high, I would try not to worry.

Our clinics protocol was they wanted to see HCG of 50 + on the 9 dpt blood test to confirm the pregnancy hence all the scans.
