OTD Xmas Day

Looks like my 4th IVF OTD is going to be on Christmas Day. This is my third cycle embryos 5&6), having started treatment in Oct 2018.

Thought I'd be testing the week before so I had time to process the result and get on with making the most of the holidays but my endometrium was 7mm today and then want it to increase more.

Anyone fancy joining me the build up/count down to the 'big day'?

Thanks lovelies. Obviously very early days but it's a massive step seeing those two lines and I'm determined to enjoy every minute and be thankful.

I know you've had a rough time of it with your cycles @Violet180, and I'll be rooting for you getting your BFP very soon 💕 x x

Ok so I tested early by about 5 hours.....was up late last night. I just waited till I hadn't peed for 4 hours.

BFP

So I guess 7 days WAS too early to test.

Hoping everyone else gets a positive test as a late Christmas present.

As a side note I have developed a crazy allergic reaction to lubion injections and will need an emergency doctors appointment this morning. Crazy itchy injection site and swelling rash. But I still need 2 lubion a day.

Aww @Violet180 I'm so happy for you! Massive congratulations honey, when will your due date be?

Hope you get the injection issue sorted! Are you having many symptoms? I'm not having many - bit of back ache and that's it.

What a lucky thread this has been. Never thought I'd be on one.

Yaaay 🙌🏻 xxx

Thank you. IVF calculator says september 4th. But thinking that far in advance makes me feel worried.
No pregnancy symptoms.
I went to the doctor who said keep taking injections until 2nd when my clinic reopens and then hopefully switch to something else. She prescribed anti histamine and cortisone cream, both which make me worried to take during pregnancy. She is insistent that the warnings are just because drug companies dont want to be held liable and no issue with pregnancies and those drugs have been proven.
But my stomach looks like a warzone.
Still super happy with result and just trying to remain realistic but happy at the same time.
I hope things are good with you. I saw you were looking for a BFP thread for IVF ladies. I feel the same way when sharing those threads with ladies who have not had the journey we have had. They are not as worried as we are.
Specially since I am 41 and this whole journey is fragile for me.

Sounds painful @Violet180 not long to wait now until the 2nd and hopefully you can get on something that works better for you.

Had a consult with my GP yesterday, mentioned our BFP and he has put the fear in me - kept banging on about 'hopefully this will work out' etc. I know he was being realistic but has totally brought me down. Bloody doctor...

Have just done another test to reassure me and will tell my parents later - they will be ecstatic so that should give us a lift Smile

How exciting that we are pregnant for the start of 2020, so happy to have reached this milestone and achieved implantation even if it isn't meant to be. Let's hope for a happy healthy and stress-free (as much as possible) 9 months ahead 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
